First thing that popped into my head - dont judge

Loving someone who doesn’t love you back,

Makes it so difficult to keep yourself on track

When they change what they mean each day,

Is more difficult than words can say

Your head and your heart begin to disagree with eachother,

Your head asks why you bother

While your heart says just another,

While your head says you need to build a wall – get tougher

Yet each time your heart takes over,

In hope to find someone to love you like no other

There’s only so much you can take,

Before your heart gives up with all the breaks

Before your heart says it’s time to stop,

But that’s the time the right guy decides to show up with a ‘pop’

Yet that is the one time you don’t let your guard drop,

And your head is screaming at you to stop,

As it’s finally time to let your guard drop

What do you do when you’ve been hurt?

What do you do when you’ve been treated like dirt?

What do you do when that one guy ignores you?

Making you simply not know what to do

Do you give up?

Do you show you’re not all that tough?

Do you turn round and walk away?

Or do you make a decision to stay?

No right or wrong thing to do,

At the end of the day it is down to you

Love,

Is simply an emotion sent from above

Simply a choice,

Whether to leave or stay,

It’s your choice to who you say hey

You can only love another,

If you can love yourself like no other

Love yourself first,

And set the roles in reverse

They may say they love you,

But they may not truly feel that way for you,

Until you love yourself the way you are meant to

You can overcome anything,

That life decides to bring
