Dear

mum,

did you know your daughter is beginning to feel numb

dad,

did you know your daughter is glad,

you were the dad she never had

'him',

did you know lately your close friend feels ever so dim

family,

the stuff she wears fits her personality happily

ex-friend,

did you know the friend you once had no longer cares your friendship came to an end

school,

did you know the 'good girl' thinks of this place as a shit hole

haters,

did you know the girl you judged may permanently say 'laters'

'mates',

did you know the one with the brightest smile, awaits the final walk she takes

do you care?

do you care enough to be there?

I doubt it,

because all you do is treat her like shit

you push her around,

yet she doesnt make a sound

you know she'll always be there,

so you no longer bother to act as though you care

you have a choice to make,

it's yours to take

be there for her and stay,

or piss off and go away

pick,

and don't be a prick

curious as to who this girl could be?

this girl is me

now you know the truth,

don't go through the roof

say goodby to the old me, the one I simply can't be

yours sincerely,  me
