.Chapter 46.

Phil's POV,

I just stood there, breathing heavily as I stared at the mans face. Dan was also panting heavily and I didn't know what to say. "T-thank you for saving me." I say and he just nods. "I'm glad I followed you." He says and I just nod. "Same"

I then run and turn into a cat to make me run even faster, "Phil!" Dan screams and I could see that he got up and started running after me. I kept running away though. Not ready to face him. I didn't realise what happened when I was out in the middle of the road. "Phil look out!" Dan screamed and I looked behind me to see a car a few meters away.

I smiled as this could be my decor, the car came zooming past as I crouched down in cat form. The car went straight over the top of me. Then using my nails I hooked onto the bumper and I was suddenly moving forwards. I looked back to see dans eyes wide and watching me zoom away from him.

But then everything stopped and I stopped smiling when I saw utter defeat flash though his eyes as he just looked down and walked the opposite way to where I was going. I realised that I wasn't going the right way myself as I looked around there was no cars that I could see so I turned into human form and jumped out on my right.

And that's when it happened.

I heard a loud beep of a car and then felt extreme impact. A blood curdling scream erupted from my lips as I felt pain rush to my side that hit the car the most. I suddenly saw loads of people swarming around me and then someone trying to push through the crowd.

"SOMEBODY CALL AN AMBULANCE"
Dans voice echoed through my sensitive ears and he emerged from the crowd of people as two people went to phone the ambulance. People where swarming out of there cars to see what had happened. "oh my god Phil what did you do." Dan says and picks me up and places me gently on his lap.

I hiss at the pain as I wanted to scream but I couldn't as I felt my voice box die out. I just made my eyes really big at Dan and my ears flopped down. "Dan" I tried to say but nothing came out. Both of his and my eyes widened as I tried to speak again but nothing came out.

"Oh my god Phil your not speaking oh fuck fuck fuck." Tears where streaming down his cheeks as he hugged me. I hugged him back.  "Your okay. Your going to be okay." He says and I just nod but I hiss at the pain in my neck. But the sound of the hiss didn't come out. Just my facial expressions.

"I've gotten an ambulance." A woman says and I just nod and Dan thanks them. I wrapped my tail around my waist as I suddenly felt myself going in and out of consciousness. And dan saw that I am going in and out. "Hey kitten just look into my eyes. Don't close yours okay." I tried to nod but I wanted to go to sleep so badly. "I want to go to sleep" I  mouth and he shakes his head. "That's not going to happen."

I just nod and smile at him gently. But tears where streaming down his face. "I wish that the last words I might of heard from you wasn't the word same and was I love you." I just smile sadly and mouth. "I love you" He just smiled and said back "I love you too."

I heard sirens from the bottom of the street come closer and closer until I saw blue lights, and then I fell out of consciousness.

The only thing I could hear was dans cries.

"Your going to be okay kitten"
