.Chapter 32.

Dans POV.

My eyes flutter open and my eyes get blinded by the light. I look at the clock and see that it's 2am. Where am I. The avents of what happened soon dawned over me and I realised I was in a hospital. My neck was extremely sore from I guess was the rope burn. But who saved me?

I look down and see a black cat curled up on my chest and I smiled in awe. I could see tiny bandages on his arms so I knew exactly who it was. He couldn't of saved me. He was stuck in here. I stoked his head softly. Itching behind his fluffy ears.

I could hear him purring and I smiled at him. This is the best thing to wake up to, I soon realise that I killing myself was never the option and that I was a stupid cunt for possibly hurting him mentally.

I can't believe I actually thought that that was the way out. On how lonely I was. But me trying to leave. It must of hurt a lot of people. Especially the black cat sleeping on my chest. I could tell Phil was crying because the fur on the bottom half of his face was wet. "Aww. What did I do to you?" I say and I kept stroking him.

His eyes quickly opened when I said the words and he looked up and his big blue eyes where almost piercing my eyes off. "Dan!" He says and jumps up an down. Before running around the entire room and then jumping back on my bed.

"Your actually awake. Oh my god your alive." He says and I smile at him as he hides his he'd in my neck. Surprisingly it not hurting my neck. "I love you so much. Why did you do this to yourself." He says and I just shake my head and whisper "I love you too"

"I was worried sick about you! I was dying on the inside." He whispered and I just shook me head. "Now atleast I can say that we both have felt the pain of losing someone." I say and he nods. "I realised how much pain I have caused by hurting myself. Almost killing myself from my hand slipping. It's just scary how fast something can go." He says and I nod, I hug him as tight as I could as he was a cat and I didn't want to hurt him and he just meowed in return.

"What did you just say?" I say and he giggles. "I hope you never do this again." He says still hugging me. I pick him up and lay him on his back before tickling him. "HAHAHAHAH, Dan! Stop!" He says breathless and I just tickled him even more before finally stopping.

"Tha-no you." He says breathless and sticks his tough out. His ears pointing upwards and whiskers straight. "I can't believe I was going to leave this behind. I'm so glad someone saved me." I say and he smiles and nods, "PJ saved you. As well as you mum and brother" Phil says and my eyes widen. "My mum." "And Adrian. And Pj" he says and I just nod.

"PJ tried to properly save you. He did CPR and everything. He even.. Exposed himself to save you. Like. He took off his jumper and shirt and wrapped it around your upper arm to stop the blood. Apparently your mum saw everything. How skinny he is and all his scars," he says and I just nod.

"Is he okay?" I ask and Phil shakes his head.

"As soon as he tried to save you. And when your mum and Adrian left. He had a major panic attack. He even tried taking pills but that didn't work. Chris stayed on the phone with him for an hour before PJ finally arrived here. He was in a bad state when he came here. I think because you guys have been friends for a life time he wasn't expecting you to go that.. Low in your life. And how many times you saved him from bullies made him think that he had to save you otherwise he's failed in himself. He really cares for you. Everyone cares for you Dan. I care for you." He says and I just nod and look down.

"I feel so ashamed in what I did but at the time I just thought that it was th-" "the only way out.. I know Dan. I know." Phil says and I just hug him tightly.

"I will never leave you again."
