When I met you in Ibiza-Pt.13(Final Chapter)

Narrator's POV:

"Mexico!!! You guys were absolutely amazing tonight!", the young male screams in the mic, loud cheers follow. He always enjoyed having gigs in Mexico, his fans would sing and dance to every song along until his show ends with a huge colourful firework.
Looking at the mass of people makes a smile form on his lips.
"As I already announced today, I want you guys to be the very first ones to hear my new song.", he speaks, trying hard to hide his nervosity.

"This song is with John and Michel. Please make some noise for Now that I've found you!!!", he yells and immediately gets loud cheers in response.
All lights are turned off, only the flash of the recording smartphones make the crowd look like a sea of lights. As the first note hits the cheers become more silent and the melody begins taking over the people, also over her.

With a soft smile on her face she stands behind the stage, watching him taking his headphones off. Earlier that day he told her that he will play a special song he produced because of her.
The girl asked him to let her hear the recording, but he told her to wait until the show that night.
Her instinct tells her that this is finally the song she was waiting for. She is not really sure why she thinks so, but her feeling reassures her that this is the one.

Every song sees the light of day because of a reason. Producers get inspired to create a song, every hit has its own story. So this one has.

As the male voice starts singing the first verse of the song the girl closes her eyes and listens closely to the lyrics.

Flashback to the time in your life

A strange feeling starts building her stomach up. Hearing those words make her feel different, even though she doesn't know why.

The one shot that you fire at the sky
Hoping someone else can see it
Just a sign that you're not out there on your own
A memory starts creeping in her mind.
It's a warm summer night.
Waves that collide with the sand sound like a melody in her ears. Moonlight makes his eyes shine like the brightest stars.
They are beautiful, but yet so sad.
She knew that he was troubled.
Might it be that he refers to this time in this song?, she wonders opening her eyes to look at him.

Her heartbeat fastens in the blink of an eye. The lyrics throws her back to that one night, that probably changed her whole life.
She never felt so safe in somebody's arms.
That time she did.

Bright flashing lights make her eyes flutter open, he is jumping on the deck with the crowd to the song along. Blue lazers move at a high speed, giving her goose bumps all over her body. Never a song has made her feel so many emotions before.
Now she realizes that this is a song he used to play in the instrumental version some shows before. She liked it a lot, but this version makes her love it even more.

The music becomes silent, the loud excited cheers take over for some seconds.
After a while the song comes on again and the area becomes brighter again.
