Bellamy's Pov

I wake suddenly, every thought in high definition. My eyes take in the beams of light and without a doubt I know I've slept too long. I know this because L-WYN is standing above me, looking down on me like an animal does their prey. I have got to get a new droid.

"General Ren, thank goodness you are awake!" She spoke, taking a shuffled step away from me. "I was worried I would have to wake you."

I reply with a tired grumble and push myself up onto my elbows. "What are you doing in here L-WYN?"

"Lieutenant Elwood has informed me that your ship would be leaving soon."

"Always on time, never late." I shake my head, rubbing my eyes with my palms. "I'll be down soon, and tell him not to leave without me."

L-WYN nodded and left without another word, leaving me with nothing but the rattling of the vents. I eventually sat up and walked myself to the tiny mirror in the corner of my headquarters and witnessed a moment of self-hatred. I gazed at my reflection but did not see what my mother once claimed to see.

Instead of slim, I saw 'need-to-be-worked-on' and instead of sexy, I saw average. My eyes roamed critically from one feature to another and etched it into my brain. At least, after all this pathetic pity partying, I can happily adore the colour of my eyes. When the golden sunlight hits my eyes at the perfect angle, it sparkles like a piece of copper...just like my mother's and Jude's . Under the sun, they glimmer like a dark chocolate brown, but under the moon, they twinkle like a wing that belonged to a raven.

I shook my head and changed into the usual black outfit and took off to meet Elwood. I have mastered the fake smile, right down to the wrinkles around my eyes. No one ever questioned me because everyone knew better. My flaws last one minute before I exit through the door to the docking bay.

I am Isidore Ren and because I am she, I have no emotions or noticeable flaws.

He appeared before me, in all his grandeur. A tailored black suit with the First Order symbol above his heart. His chiseled jaw lifted with a proud, pleasant smirk and his eyes sparkled a noticeable hazel. I hated to admit it but he was charming and smart. Every word he said sounded important but I felt no compassion or trust for the speaker. "Ready to go?"

With a simple deep breath, everything is gone. "Unfortunately."

"Your tone is peachy." He points out, watching our group of stormtroopers walk onto the smaller ship.

"I'm sorry, are you my father?" I question, crossing my arms over my chest. "Because last time I checked, you're not."

"If you were my daughter, I think I'd float myself."

"Well you wouldn't know how to be a proper one anyways, since you've never had one."

His cheeky smirk disappeared in seconds and he walked onboard without looking back. Dominance, I have finally won the dominance between our strictly professional relationship. I follow him seconds after, seating myself beside the captain of the ship.

"General Ren, my name is Captain Onyx," He introduced himself. "I'll be flying you to Dagobah."

I reply with a nod, not knowing what else to say. Perhaps a 'thank you'? No, no, I'm too superior to thank a nobody in my life. I'm talking to myself and that wasn't a good thing.

"General Ren?" Elwood speaks from behind me. "A word?"

I follow him into a back room and immediately, I regret my decision. His face mottled crimson, his eyes popped, his tree trunk neck strained. I'm taken aback by his appearance but I simply stifle a laugh. "Who hurt you?"

He bites his lip and fumbles with his words before he is able to speak. "What have I done to you?"

"Pardon?"

"Is it the whole Sith Lord thing?" His words were spat out with the ferocity and rapidity of machine gun fire. "Is it impossible for you to be civil?"

Without wiping the spit from my petrified face, I leant closer, perfectly composed and uttered just nine words. "You don't get to tell me how to act."

His fuse simmered and fizzed like a firework in a chill autumn breeze, then he exploded with unrestrained fury. "We've never gotten along, I know that. In fact, I hate you Isidore Ren, I hate you but for whatever damn reason, you can't treat me with any respect. Actually, you can't treat anyone with respect! Even Hux has your father's respect and he's Kylo Ren!" He spat. "I get it, the whole 'light side' is the wrong side but being completely heartless doesn't always take you away from the dark side."

I remained as still as a statue, unblinking against his onslaught. "I am heartless because feelings are a distraction."

"Really?" He laughed crazily. "Then tell me why you continue to carry L-WYN around?"

I cringe and take a step towards him. "What do you know?"

"I know that L-WYN has old holograms of Elara Jane, your mother and you watch them." He shouts, causing me to flinch. "You've got a heart Issy, you're just too dedicated to admit it."

"I kill people for a living, we kill people for a living!" I scream, completely enraged. "You work for the First Order, you can't have a heart!"

Elwood shakes his head. "I like killing people, the terror on their faces, the power in my veins but I still have a heart Issy. I care about you! The minute we got back from Naboo, you've been acting different! Your emotions are everywhere! You are still a teenager! You talked to your brother after a decade, of course you are feeling something and I don't want you to bottle it up inside because you can't talk to your father or Snoke about it!"

"You just told me you hated me."

Frustrated, Elwood puts his hands in his wavy hair and tugs aggravatedly. "I do, but you and Hux are the closest thing I have to anything."

I shake my head, questioning why I don't feel the need to pull out my lightsaber and chop him up into a million pieces. "I don't believe in love or anything related to it. It's a blindness that got my mother killed, weakened my father and it will eventually kill my brother too."

"I don't believe you!"

"And why is that?"

"Why else would you be so determined to find the map that leads to the man that used to take care of you?"

"Amar Gemini-" I'm stumped. "-is almost as intelligent and strong as the great Jedi master Yoda, he can help find an assassin that is stealthy enough to kill the last of the remaining Jedi."
