Bellamy's Pov

I woke up with soft grass as my mattress. My hands move across the silk blades as I push myself up. I was on Naboo, dancing in the thick spring grass, still wet from the early morning dew. I was in ankle deep, tangled within the dark green fields. A few metres down was a tall shack, freshly painted with brown paint. A wooden fence was set around the perimeter with a five bar gate. A small treehouse was located within the hundreds of trees gathered around the house to create an arch.

"Dinner!"

I find myself running but not fast enough. My brother passes me but I'm trailing closely behind. I feel the oxygen leave my lungs as I inhale the sweet spring air and exhale childish giggles.

I climb onto the seat closest to my grandmother, Gail Jane. Eager to eat something, I reach across the table and grab her wine glass. Laughing just as hard as I was, she takes it away from my grasp. "You aren't old enough for that Bell."

Stubborn, I stick my tongue out and sigh in defeat. I couldn't speak much because I was only four, still desperately trying to get ahold of my native language.

Jude sits beside me, his chubby toddler legs swinging back and forth as he waits for his meal to be served. Our grandfather, Sabellius Jane, sits across from us, smoking a pipe with Amar Gemini. This home was filled with song and cheer.

Our mother came out of the tiny kitchen with a heaping of food. She set the table with delicacies I didn't even know. Anything you could think of, and things you have never dreamed of. Whole roasted meets, sliced to perfection. Huge platters with cheeses, breads and vegetables make their way to my plate.

The air smelt like pure joy and my fingers were electric. My young mind was buzzing, my limbs so charged up that waiting just isn't an option. I reached over to grab a slice of bread, coating it with a red sauce. Every normal thought and worry is banished, there is simply no room for it with all the excitement in my mind.

Before I can take a bite, Amar taps his glass and raises it. "To Bellamy and Jude!"

I breathe in deep. This day is my vacation from reality, the day I didn't have to do chores. I raise my small glass and look over at Jude, smiling brightly.

"Happy Birthday!"

I pull my hands around my knees, hugging them so close that they dig into my chest. All I hear is Elwood's soft snores, a sound that I thought would bring me peace. Now with those memories coming flooding back,  I feel the invisible noose around my neck grow tighter and all I feel is fire.

I was breathing as if no air would ever be enough, as if I was drowning. I stumble out of the bed, pulling a sheet over my body as I try to pull myself together. I was on my knees before I knew it, hands on the floor, my long hair almost touching the ground.

Startled by my aggressive breathing issues, Elwood wakes up from his sleep. It takes him a dazed second to realize I was on the ground, gasping for air. I feel his hand on my back, soothing me and trying to get me to calm down.

"Hey it's okay, you're safe." He lets me hide in his arms.

"I couldn't breathe," I mutter out, my entire body weak from the lack of air. "I was so caught up in the dream, it felt so real."

"What was it about?"

I look at him, almost afraid to admit it. "Home."

"The Finalizer? If you are so homesick, we can turn around and get you back-"

"Not the Finalizer Elwood," I shake my head. "Naboo."

He looked at me confusedly for a second before processing my words. "You mean the house you lived in with Jude and Amar Gemini?"

I nod. "That's the one."

Trying to find something to say, he panics. "How long have these dreams been going on?"

"That's the thing Elwood, they aren't dreams," I shake my head, finally accepting what was happening. "They are long forgotten memories that are finally returning."

"How?"

"If I tell you something, you have to swear on your life that you won't tell my father," I pause. "Like I will kill you."

"Alright I get the point."

"Anakin Skywalker has invaded my thoughts...he's trying to pull me to the Light Side."

Elwood chokes and starts frantically coughing. His eyes widen and he leans against the wall, trying to put everything together. "We aren't talking about Darth Vader are we? Wasn't he a Sith Lord?"

"Only one of the most powerful," I confirm. "Yet, he's trying to talk to me."

"Anything else?"

"My mom is trying with him."

There was a moment where Elwood's face washed blank with confusion, like his brain couldn't think fast enough to take in the information from his wide eyes. Every muscle of his body just froze before his mouth dropped open. "I don't understand any of this Force voodoo."

"Don't say that!" I groan. "Say something comforting! I don't know what to do!"

He thought for a second more. "I'm onboard with whatever you decide to do."

"You don't actually think I'd join the Light Side do you?" I laugh awkwardly, waiting for his response but he doesn't give me one. "Do you?"

"Your family is on that side."

"You're my family," I defend myself but somehow, I feel like I'm lying. Nothing is wrong with a little white lie right? "I am the apprentice of Snoke, my destiny is to become a Sith."

"Issy look at me, you torture yourself over these prophecies written a couple thousand years ago," He says, taking my hand and rubbing his thumb over my knuckles. "My loyalties stay with you."

"I don't know," I state as if it was simple, looking up at him with watering eyes. "What am I doing? What have I done?" I single between the two of us. "This? This was a mistake. I wasn't supposed to-" I panic. "We weren't supposed to- What is happening to me?"

A knock on the door allowed me to pull myself together. Elwood gave me a second to compose myself, throw some clothes on and wipe away the steady stream of tears going down my face. I open the door with ease, keeping my face straight. "Hello father."

He glances at Elwood and then back to me, stiffening slightly. "We have a problem."

"Oh?"

"The Republic just declared war."
