The sound of a thousand voices.
The pain from a thousand choices
The tears from the past eighteen years
Stain the happiness, making it visibly obscured. The middle kid left to his own devices
Many of the choices are none the wisest.
See I was always smart,
But no one really saw me for my heart.
Even now, I live the day dealing with so much pain,
Loving the Sun but can't wait for the rain.See I was always quiet. Ambitious, athletic,
See, I was always me.But being me was something that not many people wanted to see.
Bullied for eight years. Picked on, fought, lied on, yelled at.
Never good enough.Yet I was always me.
I was known for many disappearing acts, shadowed in the depths of my agony and wallowing deep in myself.Well, now I'm standing up.
Now I'm speaking out.
Now I want to prove to the world that I can be free.
That I can be me.It's not going to be easy.
This much I know,
Because before any of this can come true, my parents must first know.
No more hiding, no more tears. No more allowing others to torture me with my fears.I'm speaking up, I'm being bold, because I can't be the one trying to keep hold.
My sanity won't let me. My anger won't check me. My voice has been silent for so long, taking in the pain of those around me so they can be strong.
It's making a sound now, out from the echoes of silence I emerge, because at the end of today man,
After all of these words, all that I want to say isI wanna be heard.

Hey everyone, I'm Enigmas Destiny. I'm starting my poetry book today with this poem because it's message is the reason why I even speak anymore.
This book will have works ranging from all different emotions, different types of poetry. I'll update once a week, hopefully until instead of having to use my energy to write, I can use it to speak.Songspirations:
Wanna be heard~Kendrick Lamar
Bad Intentions~Niykee HeatonDedicated to: Danielle_Burton and princessmarra1
For giving me the inspiration to finally give it a shot.
