Zero Entertainments first boy group UD's popularity spread quickly. Now they had just finished their first concert in Japan. It was a lively night full of energy and fun, but now after giving their all they boys were exhausted.
The boys headed back to their hotel rooms with their respective room mates. Somehow Han-Bin was lucky enough to get a room by himself. He said it was random draw but the others had a feeling he's cheated somehow. They were just too tired to care now.
Han showered and changed into some loose sweatpants and a tank top. He wiggled his small body underneath the covers and switched off the lights. It must have been an hour later that he heard a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" He groaned too tired to get up.
"Han... Are you awake?"
"Rey?"
"Han?"
Han-Bin threw off his covers and flipped on the lights on his way to the door. He was face to face with his fellow group member.
Rey wore similar sweat pants to Han but the difference was Rey's tanned and toned bare torso. Han forced his eyes to look up. To make contact with Rey's eyes.
"What's wrong?"
"I..." Rey looked to the ground embarrassed by the answer he was about to give, "there were some noises. I didn't want to be alone..."
Han stepped to the side letting Rey walk in. After shutting the door he focused his eyes on the wall behind Rey.
"Wasn't Caleb in your room?"
"He's a heavy sleeper."
Rey sat on the edge of the bed and Han joined him.
"You were really scared of the noises?"
"..."
"What did you think a monster was in the closet?"
"Shut up."
"You know it was probably the neighbors having sex or something." Han shrugged.
"Daniel and Hyun were in that room..."
"Well..." Han shrugged. "I can't believe you of all people would be scared of something as silly as a little noise."
"If you're just gonna make fun of me I can go back."
Rey stood walking to the door. Han ran his fingers through his hair. He wasn't trying to make him mad. He jumped up and wrapped his arms around the bigger boy's waist.
"Don't go." He rested his pointed chin on Rey's shoulder. "I-" he didn't know what to say.
Rey rested his hands on Han's. He didn't attempt to pry them off. Just let them sit there.
"Stay and I'll protect you from the monsters in the closet okay?"
Rey wanted to be mad but he just couldn't.
"Promise?"
Squeezing tighter was all the response given. All the response even needed.
The two joked and and talked about random things until Rey passed out. His head rested on Han's chest.
Han watched his peaceful face. He watched the way he breathed. He even ran his fingers through the other's hair when he seemed to be having a nightmare.
"I'll be your night in shining armor whenever you need it." He pressed a small kiss to the middle of Rey's forehead before falling asleep himself.
