Harry's POV
"So...I can see that things are working out between the two of you." Louis says, glancing at Mus and then diverting his gaze back at me. I smile, nodding my head.
"Everything's going great." I say, taking a sip of the orange juice that was sitting idly in front of me.
"Did you too...you know do the deed last night?" Louis has a smug smile on his face.
"That's none of your business!" I snap at him. Years ago, I'd have no problem whatsoever, discussing what I did with Mus last night. However, I don't want to anymore. We spent the night together, and what we did or said is only for us to know. Our little secret.
"Chill, Harry. I'm just playing around." Louis says, raising his hands as if he's surrendering.
"I'm sorry," I mumble. Louis raises an eyebrow, questioningly. I will not apologize again.
"Talk about an ego." Louis says, chuckling.
"Who's ego are we talking about?" Mus asks us, taking a seat beside me. She hands me the bowl full of Froot Loops.
"Harry's. It's huge." Liam butts in, before I can say anything. I scowl at him and flip him off. Liam laughs, alongside Louis and Mus. Assholes.
"Darcy, and Niall aren't here." I say, taking Mus' hand in mine. I don't want to let it go. I want to hold her forever. "Please, tell me what happened between Josh and you." I am a leech. I will not let this topic drop until and unless I get the answers that I desire. Mus sighs, shaking her head.
"I'm not comfortable talking about what happened between us." Mus says, not meeting my gaze. I know that he abused her to a certain extent. I just want to know how much because I will make him suffer twice the amount.
"Mus, if we aren't open with each other this relationship will not last. Don't ruin this, please."
"Harry, he became abusive. Plus, we weren't mentally together. Something changed in Josh. He's different." Mus says, hastily as if she wants the words out and forgotten. I nod my head. He's a dead man. Bastard! I knew he was a bad guy from the beginning. I want to tell Mus I told you so, but now's not a good time.
"Harry, promise me you won't hurt Josh. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." Mus says, concern etched onto her forehead. Gosh, she takes far too much stress.
"I...won't," I say. I will stay true to my word. I won't lay a finger on Josh, but that doesn't mean that my men can't. Mus smiles gratefully.
"Thank you." Mus says, squeezing my hand comfortingly. "I'm going to head up, shower and change." Mus gets up, heading towards the exit.
"Bye!" I say, as she exits. Mus waves before turning around the corner.
"You guys are so damn weird." Louis says, after a few seconds. "Mus and you act as if you never broke up." I shrug my shoulders. This is just how we are. It's messed up and ridiculous, but I'm happy now. Mus can bring out so many happy emotions in me.
"Well, we're just happy to see you smiling again." Liam says, giving me a warm smile. I feel bad for deceiving Mus, but I have no other choice. Josh needs to learn a lesson. He can't abuse a woman and get away with it.
"Are you guys coming to the pool? I'll be down there in fifteen minutes." I say, getting up. Louis nods his head.
"We'll meet you near the towel shack." Liam says.
"Okay." I head towards the exit. First, I'll head upstairs to my room, change and grab my swimming gear. Then, I'll go to Mus' room and ask her if she wants to come. I want to swim with her. Heck, I want to spend every single second of every minute of every hour with her. I smile at my own foolish thoughts. I'm going crazy in love, yet again. Instead of taking the elevator I decide to take the stairs.
"Good morning," I greet a waiter who's heading down the stairs with a tray stacked high with empty plates and glasses. He nods and smiles. I want to tell everyone and anyone who will listen about Mus and me getting back together. I feel around in my pockets, but I can't find my room key. Niall must be out of the shower by now. I ring the bell, patiently waiting outside for him to open.
*********
All changed, and ready for the pool, I'm waiting outside Mus' room door. After two bells, the door opens and Darcy's waiting to greet me. Well, not really greet me. The minute she sees me, Darcy groans and turns to head back inside the room.
"Mamma, he's here. Again!" Darcy yells, as I follow her inside.
"Harry? What are you doing here?" Mus asks me, taking her head out of the bathroom. Mus' face is covered with soap, and her eyes are shut. I want to laugh at her, but I control myself.
"I'm heading to the pool. Would you and Darcy like to come?" I say, taking a seat on the bed. I purposely sat down on Darcy's bed. The minute she turns around and sees me I'll get a good scolding. Anything to get her to talk to me.
"Sure. Darcy you heard Harry, get ready." Mus tells Darcy, before going back into the bathroom. Darcy nods her head and turns around.
"Get off my bed!" Darcy yells. Her eyes are filled with rage. Geez, someone's mad at me.
"Darcy, behave!" Mus yells from the bathroom. Darcy rolls her eyes and purses her lips.
"Please, get off my bed." Darcy says, sickly sweet. I shake my head, smirking.
"I don't see your name on this bed. So, I'm going anywhere." I say, lying on my back. The next minute, my head is smacked with a pillow. When I remove the pillow from my face, Darcy is towering over me.
"Why the heck are you so stubborn?" Darcy asks me, placing her hands on her hips.
"I could say the same for you." I know I'm being cheeky and I'll probably get smacked by another pillow, but I don't care because Darcy is having a conversation with me.
"I had to get the worst parents." Darcy stomps her foot, scowling. I roll my eyes, chuckling. I had to get two Mus' as if one isn't enough.
