Harry's POV
"You better go and check off wish number six and four." I say, as we enter the suite. I hand Mus the shoulder bag that contains the camera, and photos. She takes it smiling and heads off to our room.
"Where were you both?" Louis says, stepping out of the kitchen.
"We had gone to complete another wish," I explain. Louis looks at me, puzzled.
"So early?"
"Yeah. Mus wanted to see the sunrise near a waterfall. Sadly, that wish cannot be fulfilled at six pm." Louis chuckles, and nods his head.
"Harry?"
"Hmm?" I say, fishing around in the fridge to find something to eat.
"Why is this mission so serious to you?" Louis says. "Like why are you making it your life's mission to fulfill Mus' wishes? And why so quickly?"
"Because she doesn't have time," I murmur. However, instead of giving Louis that answer, I give him another. "The sooner the better, eh? Don't know what life will throw at you and when." Louis does not look satisfied.
"Harry, you both have your whole life to complete wishes and try out new things. Why are you hurrying this whole process?"
"I don't know, okay? I just know one thing; I'm going to fulfill all of Mus' wishes as soon as possible." I say firmly. "End of discussion." Louis purses his lips.
"End of which discussion?" Niall says, entering the kitchen. I sigh, rolling my eyes at his curious personality.
"Nothing!" Louis and I say in unison. Niall huffs, throwing his arms in the air.
"Fine! Keep secrets from me." Niall says, shoving my shoulder, and opening the fridge.
"We're not hiding anything. We were just...planning on surprising you that we're going to leave Maldives today." Niall takes his head out of the fridge, his eyebrows knit together. "T-There is a slight change of plans, and we're leaving today. Right, Louis?"
"R-Right, Harry." Louis says, smiling innocently at Niall.
"Where are we going after this?" Niall says, looking satisfied.
"Don't know," I murmur. "I'll get back to you on that." A glass of milk in hand, I head toward my room. I need to check what's next in Mus' diary. I will marry Mus as well. However, I've reserved that wish for a special time, and place. I take a seat on the bed, and open the side-table's drawer. I grab Mus' diary, and shut the drawer gently, so that she doesn't hear it. Mus is in the shower, or so I'm assuming, as I can hear her singing, and the water running. I'll miss her singing fits that only occur when she's bathing or in the toilet. I've caught her many a time, flicking her hair back and forth, and screaming her lungs out. Whenever I enter the bathroom, and she's singing, a blush creeps onto her cheeks, and she gets so embarrassed. I chuckle at the thought and open a random page.
6- I want to attend a La Tomatina festival. And throw as many tomatoes as I can at Harry.
Why me? Niall, Louis, Liam exist as well. Why am I being made the target? Suddenly, my phone rings from the television table. I get up, and rush toward it. An unknown number is being displayed on the screen.
"Hello," I say.
"Mr. Styles?" A man's voice fills my ear.
"Yeah? Who's this?"
"Dr. Ross. You called my secretary several times while I was on vacation." Ah, Mus' doctor.
"Yeah, you've treated my fiancee, Mus. Does the name ring a bell?"
"Of course! She's one of my favorite patients." Dr. Ross says, excitedly. Geez man, chill.
"What's wrong with her?" I ask him blatantly. I don't know if my question makes sense, or if I'm being too frank. However, I'm sick of being in the darkness. I want to know what's wrong with her, and why she's dying?
"I'm sorry, but she told me to not confide in anyone. Especially, you." I roll my eyes. What a great liar?
"Just...tell me, okay? I'm asking you politely, but I have other ways of finding out. Spill!"
"Mr. Styles, I'm sorry, but I can't." I inhale a deep breath, trying to calm myself down, before I slam my phone against the wall.
"Listen, doc, Mus is my fiancee and I have a right to find out what's going on. We have a child, for God's sake. If your wife was slowly dying, wouldn't you want to know the reason?" I say. "I want to help her. Please." A few seconds of silence pass by.
"Okay, I'll tell you. She-"
"Harry, have you seen my hair brush? I've lost it." Mus says, stepping out of the bathroom.
"I-I'll speak to you later, okay?" I say, hastily ending the call. Mus looks at me, furrowing her brows.
"What's wrong?" We both say in unison. Mus laughs and I chuckle.
"Nothing," I say. "Your brush is in the vanity drawer in the bathroom."
"Okay, thanks." Mus says, re-entering the bathroom. Wow, that was close. I'm going to call Ross as soon as possible. Mus exits the bathroom, her hair blow-dried and tied into a messy bun.
"Harry?!" Niall yells. Without knocking, he enters our room. Thank God, Mus is dressed. I'd murder Niall if she wasn't and he just barged into our room.
"What?" I snap.
"Geez, Harry, someone's in a bad mood." Niall says, pouting. "What time are we leaving?"
"Oh...Niall, I don't think that we should leave today. Let's enjoy Maldives for a little while longer and leave on the date that we are supposed to. Okay?" I say, taking out the small brown bag from my pocket and throwing it toward Mus. She catches it between her hands, and looks at me questioningly.
"Tape," I say. Niall exits the room, shutting the door behind him.
"Thanks," Mus says. She grabs her diary, and tape in hand, she takes a seat on the bed. I decide to see what she's up to.
"So, how are we going to stick the photos, ma'am?" I say, throwing myself on the bed, beside Mus.
"We are going to stick each photo underneath a wish. Like, the ones that you took at the cinema, are going to be stuck underneath the cinema wish." Mus explains, opening the page where she wrote down her number one wish.
"Smart." Mus hands me all of the photos, and gets to work, trying to open the tape. All of her focus is on peeling the tape. I want to laugh at the way her tongue is sticking out from the corner of her mouth, but I don't, knowing that she'll lose her concentration, and peeling tape is oh so important.
