"Mus, I'm ready!" Harry yells from our room. "And awaiting your company."
"Coming!" I yell, passing my hands through my hair one more time. Harry and Zahra have planned something for tonight and I don't know what it is. Gosh, I hate their friendship. I'm very happy that they're friends now, but they always gang up on me.
"If you tell me what is going on, I'll come out faster." I say, opening my lip gloss tube.
"I have the whole night. I'll be waiting," Harry says. How mean! I want to find out what's going on. I stamp my foot on the ground in frustration. "Heard that!" Gosh, Harry's infuriating at times. Suddenly, a flaring pain shoots through my head. Again. These moments of pain are coming too often and I'm scared that it'll happen in front of Harry. He was worried enough the first two times, I don't want him to see that this pain hasn't gone. The pain leaves my head as fast as it came, and I level my breathing. Taking in a deep breath, I grab my phone, and exit the bathroom. I'm fine. The pain will not come back. I mentally chide as I exit the bathroom. Harry is sitting at the edge of the bed, typing something into his phone.
"I'm here. Let's go," I say. Harry looks up, smiling.
"You look...how do you do it? Mus, you're always looking flawless." Harry says, heading toward me.
"Harry, you don't have to shower me with false praise every time you see me." Harry takes my hands in his, looking into my eyes.
"I don't lie, and I don't give false praise. You're an angel on this planet." Harry leans his head forward, and my breathing quickens. For some reason, my breathing speeds up every time Harry touches me, or tries to kiss me. God, the things he makes me feel. Harry attaches his lips to mine, passionately kissing me.
"We're going to spend the night in this room, if you don't pull back right now." Harry murmurs against my lips. Smiling, I take a step back. Immediately, Harry pulls me back into his arms. I push at his chest with my hands, giggling.
"Harry, stop! I don't know about you, but I don't feel like staying in all night." I say, pulling my hands from Harry's. He lets go, grinning.
"Fine Mus, you win. Like always." I give a small curtsy and head towards the door. I can feel Harry close behind my heels.
"Can you please tell me what's going on, and where we're going?" I ask Harry, as we descend the stairs.
"I will not tell you until we're in the car." Harry says, smirking.
"You know that you're a mean, and selfish person, right?" Harry nods his head. "It's an insult, not a compliment."
"You get so irritated by my wits, don't you?" Harry asks me, his eyes glinting with a spark of playfulness.
"Very. I hate your wits, and that's why I hate you." I say, trying my best to sound irritated. However, I can't help the smile that adorns my face when Harry starts chuckling.
"Can't resist the charm, babe." Harry winks at me. Ignoring him, and trying to suppress my laugh, I rush down the stairs.
*******
"Where are we going? You still haven't told me." I say for the fifth time tonight. Harry chuckles yet again.
"Babe, hold your horses. We're almost there," Harry says. Sighing, I unlock my phone, and check my email. I can't bear the wait any longer.
"Harry, come on, and spill." I whine, throwing my head back.
"We're here!" Harry sings, stopping the car, and cutting the engine. Thank God, I internally sigh. I turn to open my door, but Harry places his hand on my arm, stopping me from doing so.
"Our date begins from the minute we step out of this car." Harry says. "It's a five minute date. Zahra and I thought of this concept, and I hope you enjoy our short, but romantic date."
"Five minute date? Never heard of it." I say, smiling at the idea of having a five minute date. "That's impossible, though." Harry rolls his eyes, scoffing.
"Oh, please. Nothing's impossible for me." Harry wipes of imaginary dust from his shoulder, and unlocks the car. "Let's go, mademoiselle." Once I get out of the car, I notice that there's a carriage parked in front of it. The carriage is black, with white and red roses adorning it. Harry runs over to me, grabs my hand and leads me toward the carriage.
"Mus, we can't walk so slowly. Come on, pick up the pace." Harry says, hoisting me up into the carriage. I laugh as he gets in hurriedly. "Let's go!" The driver nods his head and starts to pedal down the road. The wind whips my hair across my face.
"Harry, you just had to plan this outside date on a windy day." I say, pushing my hair behind my ears.
"Yeah...and here we are." Harry hops off the carriage, and rushes toward my side. He tugs at my arm, rushing me to follow him. There's a table set up with two chairs near the harbor. I didn't even realize we are at the harbor. We reach the table and Harry pulls my chair back. Before I can place my butt on the seat, Harry pushes it in front, and jogs over to his seat.
"What would you like to eat? Italian, Chinese or Indian?" Harry asks me.
"Mm...Chinese," I say.
"Okay then!" Harry snaps his fingers and two men get up from a bench that's near us. As they come closer to us I realize that one of the guy is Liam, and the other, Louis.
"What are they doing here?" I ask Harry, laughing.
"Serving you, ma'am." Louis says, winking at me. I giggle as he places a plate in front of me. Immediately, I take a bite, savoring the amazing taste.
"Gosh, I'm famished," I say. Before I can take another bite, Harry gets up, grabs my hand and leads me back toward the carriage. "Harry, we didn't finish-"
"It's a five minute date. What'd you expect?" Harry says, hoisting me into the carriage, yet again.
"I want ice-cream! Give me ice-cream." I say in a childlike tone. Harry sighs, placing his head in his hands.
"Niall, take us to the ice cream parlor." Harry says, placing his hand on his forehead, glancing around the harbor. "Thank God there's no traffic." I giggle at Harry's childish behavior.
"Yes, boss," Niall says. Great, so Liam and Louis were our servers, and Niall's our driver. How lovely! Niall stops the carriage, and Harry jumps off. He grabs my hand and we jog over to a tiny ice cream parlor on wheels. Louis is standing behind the freezer, smiling.
"Profession change again?" I ask Louis, chuckling.
"What would you like to eat, madam?" Louis says, with a flourish of his hands. I'm stuck with a bunch of clowns for sure.
"Rocky Road, and Gooey Chocolate." I say, looking at all of the flavors that are in the ice cream. Louis nods his head, opening the freezer. "What about you Harry?" I turn around to find my boyfriend missing. "Where'd he go?" Suddenly, someone taps me on the shoulder, and I turn around to find a smiling Harry. He's holding a rose in his hand.
"This is for you." Harry says, holding out the rose for me to take. I take it, smiling.
"Thank you," I say. Before I can say anything further, Harry gets down on one knee, and takes my left hand in his.
"I've done this before, and I'm most definitely having deja vu. But I'm honored to be doing this again." Harry reaches his other hand into his pocket, and takes out a small, blue, velvet box. "Mus, I have no words to express myself with. Ever since you've come into my life, it's been one hell of a ride. You make me laugh, and cry. You make me feel emotions that I never thought I'd feel. You're always...no, wait. You always say the right things, that always make me feel special. That make my heart yearn for more. I know we've had some rough bumps on the road, but which couple doesn't have it's ups and downs? I love you, and I hope you do too. As long as we love each other, anything's possible." Harry smiles at me, staring straight into my eyes. "You've given me the best daughter, who doesn't like me very much, but she will. You've given me...a life worth living. Thank you. I want you to always be here for me. Would you do be the honor of being my fiancee again? Will you marry me?" This is so sweet. I wasn't into our relationship the first time Harry got down on his knee, but now I am. I nod my head, a few tears betraying me, and sliding down my cheeks.
"Yes," I whisper. Because I don't have the strength to say yes loud enough. All I want to do is enjoy every single moment of my life with Harry and Darcy because I don't have many.
