Harry's POV
I cannonball into the pool, splashing water on all of the people who are sitting on the beach chairs. Most of them scowl at me and some flip me off. Who cares?
"Get in!" I yell to Mus and Darcy. They're both sitting and reading books. Who does that near a pool?
"Maybe in a while." Mus says, without looking up. I know it's insane, but I'm jealous of those books. They're paying more attention to them than me. Sighing, I get out of the pool and head towards them. Just the thought of irritating Darcy is so damn pleasing. Smirking, I grab Darcy's book and throw it behind my shoulder. I hear a splash from behind me so I'm assuming it landed in the pool. Darcy scowls, and gets up.
"How dare you?!" Darcy shrieks, ruining my hearing in the left ear. I shrug my shoulders, giving her a fake sweet smile.
"Well, we're at the pool, mistakes happen." I say, grabbing Mus's book next. She looks at me sternly, raising her eyebrow as if daring me to throw the book. I overthink my actions and place it on the floor beside Darcy's chair.
"Thank you," Mus says. She gets up and takes off her silk robe. My eyes widen the minute I take in her one-piece suit. It has a slit across her stomach. It doesn't reveal too much, but it looks so good on her.
"Stop ogling!" Louis yells from behind me. Sighing, I divert my eyes to Mus' face. Mus is trying to suppress a smile. She's enjoying this far too much.
"Shall we?" I ask Mus, motioning towards the pool. She nods her head, and tugs Darcy toward the pool behind her.
"Come on," Mus tells Darcy. Rolling her eyes, Darcy takes off her robe as well and throws it on the chair. Darcy is wearing a one-piece suit as well. However, it has knifes on it for some reason. It's disturbing, but I like it. Knifes are a highly reliable and easy weapon to use.
"Harry! Come on." Mus says, snapping me out of my thoughts. I nod my head, and follow them. Darcy sits down on the edge of the pool, dipping her toes into the pool. Mus, on the other hand, cannonball's into the pool. I follow suit.
"Darcy, get in." I say, passing my hand over my hair. Darcy shakes her head. Like mother like daughter.
"She won't come," Mus says. Louis starts splashing us like a child, and Mus gets busy in firing back at him.
"Oh, yes she will." I murmur, going underwater. I can swim extremely close to the floor of the pool and it makes Liam jealous. In one swift motion, I tug at Darcy's left foot and she falls into the pool. As I'm moving upwards I feel a tug. Looks like someone's in a playful mood. Finally. I take one deep breath as my head emerges from the water, and then I go back in. Darcy is still underwater. Wow, she can hold her breath. I swim underneath her, and take her on my back. Darcy places her hands on my shoulders. I near the surface and stand up. Darcy falls off and into the water again. I laugh and so does Niall who's standing right in front of me, watching Darcy and I play.
"Bonding, huh?" Niall says, as Darcy emerges from the water. I nod. Darcy splashes me with a whole lot of water, and I dive back in. Now I know how it'd feel like if Mus and I were together and we would've gone on family vacations. There's no crying over the past. So I will make the present and future even better for all three of us. I swim up with Darcy on my back, again. I think she likes this back ride. This time I don't drop her when I emerge. Instead, I head towards Mus. She's talking to Liam. They're both so boring. I take Darcy off my back, and get ready to have some fun with Mus. I place my hands under her arms, and swiftly, I pick her up and let her go. Mus hits the water, splashing all of us.
"Harry!" Mus scolds me, the minute she comes up. I shrug my shoulders innocently, smiling.
"Dad, come on!" Darcy yells from across the pool, and I oblige. She just called me dad. She just called me dad. I want to yell in joy.
*********
I take out my phone from my pocket, deciding to check my emails while I wait for Mus and Darcy. As I'm reading an email from Zayn, someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn around to find Mus smiling, waiting for me.
"Where's Darcy?" Is the first thing that comes to my mind when I see Mus. I want to smack myself. Mus must be expecting a compliment about how she looks. Mus is wearing an elegant black dress that reaches her knees. She's complimented it with a silver bracelet and pearl earrings.
"She is too tired, so she fell asleep." Mus explains, turning around.
"Mus, you look amazing. I love that dress." I say, hastily, falling in stride with her. Smiling, Mus looks down at the dress and passes her hand over it.
"Darcy chose it. In fact, she gifted this dress to me for my birthday." Mus says, proudly.
"Remind me to take Darcy along with me when I go suit shopping." Laughing, Mus nods her head. I take Mus' hand in mine as we head out of the hotel. Instead of going towards the parking lot, I turn right.
"Harry, where are we going?" Mus says, confused.
"There's a restaurant near the harbor. We're going to walk till there." I say, welcoming the cool breeze, and peaceful streets.
"Okay, then."
"What do you do in your free time, nowadays?" I ask Mus, after a while.
"I go to a bookstore, buy a few books, and read."
"What is your favorite book?" Mus scrunches her eyebrows up."I didn't ask you such a tough question." Laughing, I poke her side.
"The Fault in Our Stars." Mus says, after a second.
"Never heard of it."
"Then, I'll give you the book, and you have to watch it. Once you're done with reading it, Harry you're going to watch the movie." Groaning, I throw my head back.
"You have to!" Mus says, giggling. As I'm turning to face Mus, I catch sight of someone behind us. My eyes widen in shock.
