Blairs P.O.V
I look down at my phone. This better be some joke. What kind of asshole sends something like this. My heart beats fast as I try to calm myself. It's all a joke it's perfectly fine. A part of me is rattled though. What if this is not some joke? But it's gotta be. I convince myself and shake it off. I look at my phone and realize I'm late! I have been standing here starring at my damn phone for twenty minutes! I get in my jeep and drive to Nana's ice cream shop. Gabbie is already waiting in the booth at the back. I wave as I walk back and join her. She gives me a slight smile. "So?" She asks. "What?" I ask. "It feels like it has been forever update me." She says. I laugh. "She is his probation officer." I say. She frowns. "Who?" She asks. "The girl I thought Nathan was with well she was his probation officer." I say. Gabbie nods not seeming happy. "Why do you care? You aren't still seeing him?" She asks. "Why wouldn't I it was all a misunderstanding." I say. She huffs sounding angry. "You deserve so much better?" She says. "Like who?" I ask. "Damn it me, that's who!"she says loudly. I look around. "Did you say you?" I ask. "Yes Blair I love you!" She says. "Like a friend..." I say. "No Blair I have love loved you for a while now." She replies. " no Gabbie your my straight best friend." I say confused. She shakes her head looking at me oddly. "Blair you are the first girl I have ever had a crush on." She says. I bit my lip. What the hell is going on? I'm straight. Gabbie is straight! Or I thought she was. "Are you going to say anything?" She asks. I just stare. Why is my world being turned upside down? I shake my head. "I need time to think Gabbie your my bestfriend but I don't feel that way about you." I say. Her eyes start to water and I walk away. How did I not know my best-friend was crushing on me? Maybe because I never expected it. I drive to my grandmas house. I walk right in and sit down. She comes out of the kitchen and almost spills her tea. "God! Blair you scared me!" She shouts. I laugh. "You always tell me not to knock so today I didn't. I say. "You could have announced your presence." She huffs. I smile. "Blair what's wrong?"she asks. "Nothing why?" I ask. "I can see that hallow look in your eye now tell me." she says. I can never get anything by her. I show her the text and tell her about Gabbie. She is more surprised about the text then Gabbie. "Why are you not surprised." I ask. "Because anyone can see how that girl looks at you and it's not in a friendly way." She says. I shake my head in disbelief. Everyone knew? "Why did you think your mother didn't like her?" She asks. Mom too! Man I'm clueless.Hey guys! Stick with me I know this chapter was odd but the story needed it. Please comment and vote.
