It's been weeks since the day I admitted my feelings for him. Pero yung kilig, andito pa rin. Buhay na buhay.

I'm just so happy that I'm married to Jeron Teng. Yung feeling ko eh parang first time ko lang ma-in love?

Sure, there are things na hindi namin napapagkasunduan agad, but we manage to settle our differences at the end of the day. Minsan, mas nakakakilig pa nga pag galing kami sa away eh.

Seriously speaking, I don't know when I'll get over this. But I don't mind. Because I don't ever want to get over this.

"Happy birthday.", Jeron kissed the side of my head and wrapped his arms around me.

Yes, today's my 25th birthday, at nandito kami ngayon sa Baguio for the weekend.

"Thank you. Thank you for this. Thank you for bringing me here.", I said sincerely.

We're staying at The Manor in Camp John Hay. Kakatapos lang naming mag-lunch and we're currently inside our room to rest. Feeling tamad kami today, haha. Pagod din naman kasi siya because of the long drive.

"Bale dumayo ba tayo sa Baguio para matulog?", I asked jokingly.

Jeron stared at me and kissed my nose.

"We need to recharge. Kailangan natin ng energy para mamayang hapon.", sagot niya.

"Saan ba kasi tayo pupunta?"

"Basta.", he responded with that boyish grin I always fall for.

"Daming alam. Good night na nga!"

I kissed his cheek and went to sleep, happy that the climate's not as hot as it is back in Manila. Right timing talaga 'tong si Jeron.

"Hey love, wake up.", Jeron nudged his wife lightly.

"What time is it?", Mika asked upon opening her eyes.

"It's three in the afternoon. Come on and prepare yourself. We're going out."

The two dressed up in activewear since they're about to do a rigorous activity. Mika wore a white studio t-shirt and leggings while Jeron had a sweatshirt and jersey shorts on.

Once ready, the couple rode the car and Jeron drove off.

"Burnham Park?", Mika blurted out when the car went to a halt.

"Anong gagawin natin, mag-jojogging?", she asked.

"Nope."

Jeron stared at her and held her hand.

"Today, you're going to conquer your fear.", he said, and removed both of their seatbelts.

"Huh?"

Jeron loved the clueless look on his wife's face.

"You helped me conquer mine, Mika. Remember our first night as a couple? I told you I'm not afraid of the dark anymore."
