"You coming Dawn?"

"You know mom and dad won't allow me, they said it's nothing for a lady."

"They won't know, please?"

"Well okay then... But what about Sky? You know she isn't even allowed outside the house."

"I'll make sure next time she can come, come on sis!"

Dawn

Throwing my legs over the window frame I looked down a bit scared, I was on the second floor and jumping down wasn't gonna be without pain. "You sure you can catch me?" I asked looking back at Night.

Even though he was older, he wasn't much taller nor stronger. "Yes, trust me." He said walking a bit closer to the walls. This was the first time I sneaked out of the house so I had no idea what the expect. Except for probably running away from guards and hoping mom and dad don't find out, the "fun" stuff.

I slowly lowered myself down from the window frame and let go falling on top of my clumsy brother. Lifting myself up and off him, I dusted myself off before helping him back up as well. "You said you would catch me." I said with a small glare while I just laughed it off. "What's so funny?" I asked glaring at him with a pout.

"Your face and the fact we fell." He said dusting himself off still holding a smile. I just rolled my eyes and started walking through the garden, the moon light made the flowers look even more beautiful. The small fountain was the only sad thing in the yard since it got destroyed by a catapult.

It wasn't the first time someone attacked the city, but I never understood why they did. We were a peaceful city, far from any other city. I was born and raised here, never left the property. Night sometimes went outside the wall for horse riding lessons from the outdoor stables. Mom promised me that when I reach his age I would be allowed to do the same.

Walking out of the yard we went through the bushes to stay out of guards their view. If they find out, mom and dad find out and that we DO NOT want to happen. "We almost there." Night said as we reached the center of the town.

I looked at him oddly expecting a building we could go in or a hidden door. "This is just the towns well?" I questioned him confused.

"Exactly." He replied before grabbing onto the rub the bucket was attached and going down the well. Scared and panicked I run towards the side of the well looking down. It was pitch black except for one small light at the end of the well. "You coming Dawn?!" Night yelled from down the well.

The bucket and rope shot back up. Scared to fall I gulped before grabbing onto the rope and putting one foot in the bucket. I slowly let myself go down closing my eyes. I never liked the dark. "Why is it so dark here?!" I yelled down hoping I was almost there.

"We're here." I jumped at Night his voice since he was literally right behind me. Opening my eyes I saw a torch which was being hold by my older brother. "Come on it's not far anymore." He said grabbing my hand as he guided me through the tunnel system.

Dawn had been passed out for two days now. I haven't left her side since we got here and neither am I planning to leave. One of her friends came in earlier today to inform me that my dad was looking for me. He thought I was kidnapped and that the kidnappers has stolen something valuable. Of course that wasn't the case and neither was I in any danger.

They did take all the letters from his office, but I don't know how they hold anything value. I heard a knock on the door and looked up from my lap to see Ciro. He has been here with me all the time, I told him to stay or go back but he refused. It made me happy he was willing to stay by my side, but if he went back he might be able to inform I was okay.

"How she doing?" He asked walking into the room sitting down on a chair opposite of mine. He did care about Dawn, which was a good thing. A part of me liked Dawn more than I should and Ciro caring about her would make it easier to tell.

I looked at Dawn and back at him. "I think she is still asleep, dreaming right now. She will wake up soon." I said assuring him. Honestly I was just assuring myself, I hoped she would wake up soon. All I wanted to say was sorry, tell her it was my fault.

"It isn't your fault. She was just being wreckless again." I looked at the door again seeing her sister again. Sky was the only one that was nice to us so far, Christina hated my guts and thinks it's my fault. Still I think she can be a nice person if she wants to, after all she brought us here. "She will wake up don't worry. She had worse." Sky looked at her sister.

Dawn had been pale for a while, from the blood lose. Good thing was that here wound didn't get infected, that would have been very bad. "I guess so, just don't understand why she doing all this." I answered.

"For the creed." I looked to my side hearing the familiar voice again. Dawn had her eyes open and tried to sit straight up. Ciro quickly helped her with sitting straight and went then back to his seat. "How long was I out?" Dawn asked rubbing her head.

Sky was the only one who didn't seem surprised her sister just woke up and answered. "Two days, what got you distracted this time sorella?" She asked like this was a normal thing for them.

"Too slow..." She just looked annoyed she got passed out and looked away.

"Liar." Sky said with a smirk. "Answerrrr." She commanded rolling the r extra long.

"It's the truth. Now help me up..." Dawn said annoyed trying to get up herself only to fail. I got of my chair and helped her up carefully as she tried to stand.

She was still a bit weak, she should have a meal first before she does anything dumb. "Maybe you should eat?" I asked letting her support on me.

Dawn just groaned in frustration. "We take that as yes. I'll ask the cook to make you something." Sky said as she walked out of the room.

I looked Ciro who was left with us in the room and I moved my head to the door pointing him to get out. He nodded and started walking out of the room. "I'll go tell Christina you are awake." Before Dawn could answer he was already running out of the door.

"Why in a hurry, I am useless to Christina now anyway." Dawn said as she sat down on a chair.
I just awkwardly stood there looking at the window behind her to not get distracted. "Something wrong?" She suddenly asked catching my attention.

I looked at her and she seemed a bit worried, honestly I should be the worried one here. "Nothing wrong..."

Just say it.

"Let's go and help you towards the dining hall." I said helping her back up.

You didn't say it.
