Lynn
The thunder and lightning outside made it impossible for me to sleep. It reminded me of that night back at the mansion. The manic standing there with blood on his dagger and a smile that only a mad man could wear.
I turned onto my other side in the bed, facing Sky her bed since we were still sharing a room. She seemed to be sleeping peacefully while hugging half of her cover. Each time lightning flashed outside the window I trembled.
My mind wandered back to what helped me after that traumatizing event. Dawn, who had carried me to her room as she kept me company. I later found out it was just cause of the broken window and because she didn't want me to get sick, but that didn't matter to me. She cared so much to the point of sharing her bed with someone she had just met.
Another loud bang made me sit straight up holding onto my pillow. "I hate this..." With that I got out of bed, pillow in arms. There was no point in silently sneaking around the room since Sky clearly could sleep through any form of noise.
The guards in the hall were relocated outside of the building, poor men had to stay outside in the rain. I guess it took a lot of dedication and respect to follow orders like that, but that was one of the foundations of the creed. In here it didn't matter if you were a man or a woman, had a darker skin colour or were white, as long as you showed respect to your fellow assassin's there were no worries.
Luckily, for me, the candles in the hall hadn't died out yet leaving enough light to navigate. Hagan and Christina had to share his room, which left no more beds for Dawn, but she was the one who kept pushing in wanting to sleep on the sofa.
I also found out that Ciro had been gone for a few days trying to find something. Dawn said he was very vage about what he looked for, but it sounded very important to him. I hoped he wasn't outside in this weather and was somewhere safe.
When I reached the room Dawn was sleeping in another loud bang was heard followed by a bright flits. "Eeep!" Both together encouraged me, not by my will, to run over to the sofa and practically jump on Dawn.
Dawn shot up from her peaceful slumber and went sideways falling of the sofa with me. She fell face first onto the ground as I fell on top of her, my hands right on her behind. "Oh God I'm so sorry!" I said putting my hands up in the air.
There was a groan of pain as Dawn rubbed her forehead probably from the fall. She slowly turned a little looking over her shoulder, eyes barely open. When she realized it was me she looked a bit shocked. "Lynn? Why are you here?" She asked with a worried look as she sat up.
I was still leaning over her lap and as she sat up our faces were barely apart from each other. I was lost in her green eyes by the sudden closeness, I almost forgot her question. Quickly I snapped myself out of it trying to find words. "I-I...eh..I wa-"
Another loud bang was heard outside making me jump forward, wrapping my arms tightly around her middle. My face was practically in between her breasts, but I didn't care nor thought about it at the moment.
Dawn
My face went from completely relaxed to a very dark shade of red. Lynn was hiding her face against my chest while holding tightly onto me and I didn't know what to do or how to act. I couldn't find a word that described the situation so decided to just place a hand on top of her head.
Way to go romanticus.
I mentally facepalmed at the gesture, but it seemed to calm Lynn down. Once she seemed to realize where her head was, she immediately moved back up. Her face matched mine as we were both blushing madly. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to do that."
