Lynn

The loud noise filled the air as my eyes widened. Dawn was clutching onto her side as blood started to cover her hand. Luciano was holding a new type of weapons, something I hadn't dealt with before. The only thing you could hear was his laughter while he threw the weapon aside.

Dawn fell through her knees supporting herself with one arms while still holding onto the wound. "Cretino..." She said with gritted teeth coughing up blood. I was shaking in place as the mad man approached her. My legs suddenly had found the strength to move and soon enough they were staring to sprint forward.

Luciano looked into my direction clearly surprised by my sudden movement. My crossbow was quickly drawn from my back as I aimed at his chest. As soon as my eyes were locked on it's target I pulled the trigger throwing the crossbow aside. Luciano managed to move out of the way, but the arrow did cut through his side a little.

He placed his hand on the wound and saw it had drawn blood. I pulled my sword out of it's sheath standing in front of Dawn as she was breathing heavily. "Awh sweetheart why would you do that to your husband?" I cringed at the tone in his voice as he simply smiled at me.

I knew the wound wasn't bad and he could easily fight, but I wasn't going to let him hurt her more. "Back off you asshole!" I shouted swinging my sword at his head. He simply blocked it with his own, still holding that sick smile.

I took a step back retrieving my sword to my side. He looked to the weapon again and back at Dawn before speaking. "Too bad it was just in testing, the recoil made it difficult to hit her. At least she will die slowly and painfully." His words only made me angrier as I swung again and again.

Each one of my attacks was blocked and soon enough he had unarmed me of my sword. It was a swift move and I couldn't keep up with that. I didn't know what I was doing, my mind wasn't functioning anymore. Instead of surrendering I started throwing punches, but they had no effect as I was simply not strong enough.

He slammed the back of his sword across my face knocking me backwards onto the ground. My attempt to get back up was quickly stopped as another guard kicked me back down. Before I could do anything my eyes felt shut as my head was hurting a lot.

Dawn

I couldn't do anything, but to watch them beat her up. My whole body was hurting and my head pounding, telling me to give in, but I didn't want to. Lynn's eyes fell shut as she was hid in the head. The men tied her up before picking her up and setting her on a horse. I was struggling so hard with breathing and keeping myself awake, but I didn't want to shut down.

The last thing I saw was Luciano's boots right in front of me. "Have fun in Hell, bitch." With that I felt one final blow to my side, adding up to the wound. My body couldn't take anymore as my hand gave in, my body hitting the ground.

~ Several hours later ~

I couldn't feel anything, just hear and all I heard was shuffling. My eyes were heavy, but I really wanted to open them.

Lynn.

Suddenly I shot up, but instantly regretted doing so. "Dawn!" Sky's voice suddenly made my head hurt again and my body did too. "Lay down please, you are badly hurt." I turned to look to my left and saw my sister. Her eyes were red, obviously from crying, her voice was weak as well. God she must have been scared if she saw me like that.

Instead of listening to her I threw my legs over the edge of the bed despite the pain in my side. "Lynn..." I said my voice cracking while I stood up. My legs were weak, I must have lost so much blood from that bullet. The damn weapon was like a mini musket, with much more powerful ammunition. "I gotta save her." I said using the wall as support.
