Killian's POV

I walk down the hall towards the door. I walk out and back against the building. "Killian?" I look up and see Liam. "Oh, no." He sighs.

"She's gone." I choke. "My true love is gone." I cry.

Two Weeks Later

Emma's POV

I haven't slept in weeks. Missing Killian caused so much damage to me, causing me to miss sleep and meals. I stay locked up in my motel room most of the time, only leaving to go to school.

I stare at my phone, trying to get up the courage to call him. I pick it up.

"Emma!"

"Look, I'm just calling because I left some of my stuff at the apartment and I need to come pick it up."

"Oh... okay."

"I'll be there later today."

"Okay, come by whenever." I can hear the tears prick his eyes at just the sound of my voice.

"Okay,"

I hang up and fall back onto the bed. I curl up and go to the photos on my phone. All of them are of me and Killian, but mostly just him. Tears slowly roll down my cheeks. 'I gave this all up.' I say to myself, looking through the pictures of us so happy. 'What do I have now?'

_

I walk up the stairs of our old home, every step making a horrible pain in my stomach grow. I reach the door. I go to turn the doorknob with my hands shaking violently. I look up and see a note on the door.

'Go inside, and into the kitchen. Your beautiful eyes will know what to look for.'

I roll my eyes and enter. His scent hits me like a brick wall, making me want to fall apart right then and there. I do as the note instructed and head to the kitchen. I see a small box and a note beside it. I open the box and see a beautiful bracelet with my initial on it. I gasp and hold my hand to my mouth. I take the note.

'I know this doesn't make up for what I've done, but I was going to give it to you as a gift. I never got the chance but I just wanted to see it on you at least once. Look behind you.'

I set the note down and slide the bracelet onto my wrist. It fits perfectly.

I turn around and see a note sitting on the table.

'Go upstairs.'

I walk up the stairs. I see candles lit everywhere with rose petals strewn all about. I see Killian sitting on our bed, looking at me. "I see you got my gift." He smiles softly. His eyes are red, like he's been crying for hours.

"Yeah," I look down at it. "Thanks." I rub my arm and look away.

"You're welcome." He stands up and walks closer to me. "I'm so sorry, love." He puts his hand to my cheek. "I can't ask you to forgive me, but I can beg." He looks deep into my eyes. "You're my world, Emma. Please don't take my world from me." He chokes. "I know sorry doesn't mean a thing, but it's all I can say. No matter how many times I do, know that they are all the truth. I am so sorry." He cries.

I stand, not knowing what to do. He looks down at our feet, losing hope. I grab his neck and pull him in for a passionate kiss. He sighs in relief. I kiss him harder than I ever have before, never wanting to let him go. He finally pulls back, allowing both of us to catch our breaths. "I forgive you." I whisper.  "Please don't ever leave me again."

"I won't." hee pulls me from the wall and walks to the bed. He lays me down gently and stops kissing me. He puts his forehead to mine.

"I love you."
