Three Weeks Later

I walk down the streets towards the store too pick up a few things for dinner. I walk in and head to the food section. I pick up a few things and place them in my cart. "Hey, Emma." I turn around and see Milah.

"What do you want?" I ask coldly.

"I just wanted to say hi." She smirks.

"Look I may not know you, but Killian does, and he's told me enough. I don't trust you, so leave us alone." I walk away. She runs after me.

"So, you're just going to trust him?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Because of this." She takes out a bag of white powder. I back away.

"Killian is not on drugs." I almost yell at her.

"You sure about that?" She smirks. "Because yesterday I saw him with a pretty, pretty blonde, but it wasn't you. Wanna enlighten me about that?"

"But-"

"Get it through your head, Emma. He is lying. About his little affair and about the drugs."

"No! He wouldn't do that!" I yell at her, drawing unwanted attention.

"Then look at this." She hands me a photo and walks away. I look down at it and see Killian kissing another woman. tears fall from my eyes. I push them back and stuff the photo into my purse.

_

I walk into the little cottage and set my purse and groceries on the counter. Someone turns me around and pushes me to the wall. Killian has a smirk on his face as his hands rest on my hips. He kisses me hard but I pull back, pushing on his chest. "Emma, what's wrong?" He asks, as I move away from him.

"Nothing, I- I just don't feel like doing that right now." I put on the best fake smile I can muster.

"Emma, I know you, what's wrong?" He says sternly.

"I don't want to talk about it." I walk away towards our bedroom. He follows.

"Swan, please, just talk to me." He grabs my wrist, turning me around. "Why did you pull out of my kiss? Did I do something, say something? Because if I did, I'm so sorry." He eyes plead for an answer. I move away and walk to my purse that sits on the counter.

"What's this?" I throw the photo too his feet as tears prick my eyes. "I thought you loved me." He bends down and picks it up. He stares in shock.

"Where did you get this?" He mumbles. "Where did you get this!?" He screams. I step back in fear.

"Are you on drugs?" I choke out.

"What the hell! Emma, I haven't been on drugs in years, you know that." His eyes are full of anger and confusion. "Now, I'm not going to ask you again," he walks closer to me. I step back against a dresser, in fear of what he'll do. "Where did you get the picture?" Fear takes over every part of me.

"Milah." I choke. He chuckles darkly. My breathing increases and heartbeat electorates.

"And you would believe that conniving witch over me?" His anger filled eyes meet my terror filled ones. I gulp, not knowing what to say. "You actually think I would cheat on you as we're trying to have a baby?" He raises his voice. I flinch and squeeze my eyes shut. "Why do you doubt my love for you, Emma!? Is it because I'm 'too good for you' or is it because of Neal, the man who broke your heart?" His words send daggers into my heart. "Would you bloody answer me!?" He screams. I fall to the floor and pull my knees to my chest, crying into them as he backs away. "You know, Swan, I love how trusting you are," He says sarcastically. "You never doubt me, or my love." He shouts. "My faith in you has never wavered, so why does yours fail, hmm?" I cry. "I tried to help you, I tried to comfort you, I tried to protect you, but you seem to destroy your happy ending all on your own-"

"Stop!" I scream, my lip quivers from his words.

"Stop what, love? The truth?" His words are laced with venom.

"Stop, Killian! Please!" I beg. "I'm sorry." I whisper.

"You're sorry? You're sorry!?" He screams. "Emma, all I have ever done is loved you, cherished you, and this is what I get in return? Doubt? Failed trust? I thought you would be a good mother, but how could you when you can't even trust the father of your child?" He walks away and throws a glass pitcher across the house, slamming it into a million pieces. I flinch in fear at his uncontrollable rage. He walks to our bedroom and slams the door, leaving me a crying mess on the floor. I hear him throw and break things, causing me to cry even more.

'I've never seen him this angry. it scares me.'

"I'm sorry." I whisper as my forehead meets the floor. "I'm so, so sorry." I finally get myself off of the floor and take the photo, that has ruined my life, and throw it into the fire. I sit on the couch and watch it slowly burn.

Killian opens the door and walks out with a bag in his hand. I stand up. He completely ignores me and walks towards the door. "Killian," I grab his arm. He yanks it back. "Please." I beg. "I'm sorry."

"I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me, Emma." His eyes are cold and sad. "Why do you want me to stay so bad, hmm? Is it for your own personal pleasure or do you like torturing me with your lies and lack-of-faith?"

"I'm pregnant!" I yell. His eyes go wide.

"What?" His voice cracks.

"I'm pregnant." I say calmly. "Please don't go." I beg, talking his hand. "Don't make me raise our baby alone." Tears spill over my eyes.

"You're having a baby." He looks down to my stomach. "We're having a baby." A smile breaks out on his face. He puts his hands to his mouth and drops the bag in his hand. "May I?" He asks, holding out his hand to touch my belly. I nod. His hands slowly touch me, running under my shirt.

"I'm so sorry." I whisper. He looks up at me with guilty eyes. "I was just scared of losing you when I knew that we were having a baby."

"I'm the one who should be sorry. I didn't mean those things."

"But you did, and they're true. I am untrustworthy and who knows if I'll even be a good mother."

"Emma, you'll be an amazing mother." He kisses my forehead.

"I shouldn't have ever believed Milah in the first place, and I promise I won't ever so it again."

"Good." He crashes his lips to mine. "Wanna go back inside?" He pulls back. I nod. He picks up the bag and throws it on the counter as we walk back inside. He takes my small hand inside his large and tugs me towards our room. I lay down on my back and grab a book. He lays down on the other end of the bed. He slips his arm between my knees and runs his hand lightly along my thighs. He moves and starts kissing my ankles which makes a unknown smile too appear on my lips. He moves up my legs. I giggle. He smiles against my skin and continues to work up. He reaches the top of my leg. He lays his head on my stomach and cuddles up to me. Wrapping hi arms around my hips.

As I read, I absent mindedly run my free hand through his thick, black, hair. He sighs contentedly as he rests against me. He moves my shirt up and lays sweet kisses on my barley visible baby bump. "Hey, little one," he smiles. I put my book down and just watch him. "This is your daddy." He kisses my stomach. "When you get here, I'll teach you everything I know even if your mother doesn't like it, but let's be honest, she is a bit controlling." I hit him over the head with the book. He just laughs. I smile. "You're out little miracle, and we love you." Tears slip down my cheeks at his sweet words. He looks back up and moves to kiss me. He crawls over top of me and presses his lips to mine. "I love you, Emma."

"I love you too."
