Emma's POV

Two Week's Later...

I wake comfortably in Killian's arms. He groans and kisses my head. "Morning, darling." He says groggily. I smile and roll ontohis stomach. He chuckles and wraps his arms around me. He sighs. i kiss his lips softly and stand up. "Come back." He whines. I giggle and put his shirt on, over my bra and panties.

"I've got to go take care of Colin." I lean over him and kiss him. "We have a day of learning how to walk too get started on." I smile.

"Alright, alright," He smiles and sits up. "Bring my girl up here so I can see her before I leave for work."

"Anything for you, but first, I need to feed Ginger." I kiss his forehead and skip downstairs. I walk downstairs and see Ginger sleeping on the carpet which is werid. "Ginger," I call her. "Come on, breakfast." I put a scoop of food in her bowl. "Come on, girl." I call again. She still doesn't come. "Ginger," I call. I walk to her bed and find her still asleep. "Girl-" I touch her. She's ice cold and stiff. I jump back as tears form in my eyes. "Killian!" I yell and run up the stairs. "Killian!" i choke on my tears.

"Emma, what's wrong?" He asks worriedly, turning around.

"It's Ginger." I choke. He walks to me and wraps me in his arms. I cry into his shoulder. He holds me tightly. He strokes my hair.

"Shh," He whispers. "It's okay," I cry harder and grip onto him.

"No, no, it's not." I whimper. He pushes me back and kisses my forehead. "Why did... this happen?" I stutter from my crying."She's not even four yet?" He looks at me sympathetically.

"I don't know, love." He says gently, stroking my hair.

"But..." I break down and bury myself in his chest. He holds me and kisses my head.

"Shh," He tries to soothe me. "Do you want me to move her?" He asks gently. I nod. He slowly pushes me away. I hold onto his arm tightly.

He wraps her up and picks her up. i cry on the couch as he moves her to i know not where. He walks back in and sits next to me. He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. He kisses my temple. I hide my face in his neck. Colin starts to cry. he goes to stand up, but i do it first. I walk to her room. "Hey, baby." I sniffle and pick her up. I change her and she continues to cry. I grab a bottle and go to sit with Killian. I try to feed her, but she doesn't take it. "Come on, Colin!" i yell. She cries. "I'm sorry, baby. i'm sorry." I try to calm her.

"Love, she senses that you're upset, and that's making her upset." Killian says, stroking her hair. She starts to calm down. She finally falls asleep. I put her in her crib. I walk back to him and straight into his arms.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at her." I mumble into his chest.

"I know, It's okay." He kisses my hair. "Do you want me to cancel our plans with my parents today?" I shake my head.

"No, It's a good distraction." I give a weak smile.

"Alright," He kisses my forehead. "I love you." He whispers.

"I love you too." I hug him tightly.

"Come one, let's get Colin ready." He takes my hand and we walk to get our daughter ready.

"Afraid not." He says sadly.

"He'll be fine." She says, almost as if she's telling herself. "Well, hello, beautiful." She smiles at Colin. Colin smiles and hides her face in my neck. "May I?" She asks, holding out her hands.
