Killian's POV

I sit on the couch with my head in my hands, Liam across from me. There's a knock on the door. I immediately jump up and open it. I see David with a furious look. He swings punch, landing on my jaw. I stumble backwards, gripping the table for support. He grabs my shirt and tosses me into the wall. I fall to the floor, coughing. Liam grabs his shoulder, keeping him from pummeling me. I spit up blood. "How could you do that too her!?" He screams. "I beat the shit out of you once, I'll do it again."

"Leave him alone!" Liam pushes him away

"No, Liam, it's okay." I say, getting up from the floor. "I deserve it." I look down.

"Yeah, that you do, but no one punches my little brother but me, so get out of here."

"Emma called Mary Margaret." David says. I shoot my head up.

"What?"

"Yeah, and she sounded the most upset I think I've ever heard anyone sound. Look, I want nothing more than to beat you to hell and back, but that wouldn't make up for what you did. Just go apologize to her."

"Dave, it's not that simple- Emma isn't that simple."

"Damn right she isn't! Do you know how much you hurt her? How much she needs you right now?"

"I know, I broke her heart." I look down in shame.

"Killian, you're were going to get married, and you threw that away." You can see the steam coming off of him. "If you win her back then I better not see her this hurt again, or its not going to be pretty for you." With the threat said, he walks out, slamming the door. I slip down the wall with my head in my hands.

"What have I done, Liam?"

Two Weeks Later...

I walk out of work and towards my car, when I see a familiar car drive by. I hop into mine and follow it too a hotel. I stop the car and get out. Emma runs towards the door. I run to her and grab her. I turn her around and hold her by her arms. "Ow, Killian, let go." She cries.

"Emma, please take me back." I beg, gripping her tighter.

"Killian," she cries. "Let go." She tries to push me away. "You're hurting me." Tears fall down her cheeks. I let go of her but keep my hands on either side of her head. I keep her pressed against the door.

"Please, I can't go on without you." I beg.

"Yes, you can. Just leave me and our baby alone, okay?"she turns around and tries to get the the key in the lock as fast as possible.

"Emma, wait." I try to grab her.

"Stop!"

"Swan, stop it." I turn her around enough to kiss her. She knees me in the balls. I back up in pain and bend over as she runs into the hotel. "Emma!" I bang my clenched fist on the door. "Emma, please open up!"

"Go away!" She yells. I can tell she's right by the door.

"Swan, let me in, please."

"Leave, Killian!"

"I'll never stop fighting for you! I'm sorry for the way I've been acting and for what I said! I know my apology doesn't mean a thing, but I truly am sorry. I love you, Emma, and even if you don't want to marry me, I still want to be apart of our child's life. Please don't take my baby from me, Emma. Please." There's no response. "I'm going to come here everyday, and if you tell me to go, I will, but if you let me stay, I promise I can be better. I just want you back." I cry. I hear her crying from the other side. "I'll see you tomorrow."

I get back in my car and drive back to our apartment. "There you are!" Liam says, hugging me as I enter our apartment. "I've been calling you for hours."

"I saw Emma."

"And where is she? You got her back right?"

"No, no, Liam, I didn't." I sit on the couch with my elbows on my knees and my face in my hands. "I don't think I'll ever have her back."

"Killian, you can't stop fighting for her." He sits next to me.

"What do you think I'm doing!?" I yell. "I'm sorry," I sigh. "I need her. I'm not me without her."

"I know, Killian, but you need to remember when to back off."

"I know, I just don't want to." I sigh.

"There's that stubborn Jones pride." He chuckles. I smile. "Emma loves you, Killian, and an argument isn't going to change that." He pats my back.

"I hurt her." I choke out in tears.

"What?"

"Today. She wouldn't listen to me, so I just grabbed her. She told me to stop but I didn't. Why do I keep messing up!?" I cry.

"Because you're scared of losing her."

"I'm not scared, Liam, I'm bloody terrified."
