Hey readers!
Sadly, at the moment I am thinking of having one or two more chapters, an epilogue, and then this story will be over. I want to thank all of you for reading this story!
I hope you like this chapter, and I'm so sorry for the late update.
Once again, please read and review!

Peter could feel the pain throughout his entire body. It traveled straight from his chest up to his head and down to his toes. But even that wasn't as bad as the terrible aching in his heart.
Gwen was dead.
He closed his eyes, wanting the pain to go away, but it only got stronger with each second that passed.
"Peter?" He heard a voice. Her voice. Like a whisper. (A/N Yeah I know that's what Ron said to Hermione in the 7th book). But it couldn't be her. It was almost like a ghost taunting him. He listened harder, but even with his Spidey-sense, he couldn't hear anything.
But then he heard it again, louder. "Peter?" She was coming closer.
"Stop it, Parker," He thought to himself, "You're going crazy."
"Peter?" This time, Peter couldn't help but get his hopes up. So he let out a groan, hoping maybe, just maybe, she could come closer.
And after a few moments, she did. Gwen Stacy. "Peter, oh, Peter," she said and kneeled down close to him.
"Gwen," He mumbled. She couldn't be real. It was impossible. The Goblin had made sure she died. Peter knew he had to be imagining everything going on, or maybe he had died as well...
A tear began falling down his cheek. "Oh, what's wrong?" She said and over to wipe the tear off his cheek.
He could feel her fingers on his face. He could actually feel her. And she felt real. "Is this real?"
She frowned, "Peter, what do you mean? Of course this is real."
"But your appointment..." He painfully pointed out.
"I didn't go," she said slowly. "Peter, what's going on?"
"But, the Goblin killed you," He said as another tear rolled down his cheek. "Gwen, I have to be imagining you."
Gwen turned away frowning, as if pondering the situation, before turning back to Peter and without any warning pressing her lips to his. She tasted real. She tangled her hands in his hair but was careful to not press against his injured chest. But Peter pulled her closer before she turned away and with a small smile on her face muttered, "Easy, bug boy."
Peter's breath hitched in his throat. Everything about her was the same. Gwen grasped his hand tightly, "Would your imagination ever do that?"
Peter could only slowly shake his head, before all the tears that hadn't been releasted yet came pouring out. "Gwen, the Goblin, he said he killed you, oh Gwen!"
He pulled her close against him, not caring how the pain in his chest responded. Peter began to cry into her shoulder, but this time, they were tears of pure elation.
"No, Peter, I'm right here." She said and hugged him closer.
They must have stayed in that position for five minutes, but neither of them wanted to move, but eventually Peter pulled back and began to study her. Gwen's hair was straightened around the shoulders as her green eyes glistened. Her skin was full of color, not a deathly white.
He had no idea how he could't have noticed it sooner. Instead of losing her hair like most cancer patients, Gwen's hair had instead seemed to grow longer, though it wasn't too noticeable. Instead of being a pale, sickly, color, Gwen appeared healthy.
For the first time, Peter was happy to say the Green Goblin was correct.
Gwen Stacy didn't have cancer. She was just fine.
