Hey!
I'm sorry if this chapter stinks and doesn't make sense but I was in a hurry because I really wanted to update another part today.
I also appologize for all The Fiddler on the Roof references in the last chapter- I recently watched that movie for the first time and I couldn't get some of the songs out of my head so I decided to tie it into the story.
This song is Hyptonic by Zella Day and is edited really well so i hope you like it!
Please review!

"How do you feel, Gwen?" Mrs. Stacy asked her daughter as they walked out of the hospital the next day.
"Ugh," Gwen only managed to respond.
"Well, remember," Her mom said. "At the startod end of each appointment you always feel bad, but it will get better."
"Yeah, whatever," Gwen sighed. "but Mom, it really makes no sense. They said I only have a month to live, so what's up with all of this weird medicine they're giving me? Why not just let me die!"
"Gwen, you can't keep thinking like that," Mrs. Stacy said calmy.
"And why not, mom?!" Gwen suddenly began to shout. "I am so tired of this crap! I'm tired of not knowing if I'm going to wake up once I close my eyes, and of the constant cloud of death hanging over me! I hate the way you are always looking at me, like I'm something fragile that can't be messed with! I just want everything to be over!"
She then began to sob. Horrible, loud sobs that shook her whole body and left her heaving for breath. Gwen had cried many times before over the past few weeks, but not like this. She had never put so much desperation and anger into one single sob, and when she finally managed to calm herslef down, she was still breathing heavy.
"Oh, honey," Her mom said and wrapped her arms around her. She began to soothingly rub her back as she constantly murmered over and over again, "Shh, everything's alright."
But how could she say such a lie? Nothing was alright anymore, but nothing they said did seemed to make it better. It felt like with each day a new problem arouse, which pushed Gwen deeper and deeper into the dark hole labeled cancer.
A hole no matter how hard she tried, she would never be able to climb out of.

That afternoon, Gwen made herself look as presentable as possible. She sighed. After returning home, she had taken a long nap, and woke up refreshed, when she got the call. One of the workers was apparently in the hospital, suffering from, unidentified injuries. So this of course left Gwen with the job of filling in for the afternoon.
She called Peter to tell him where she was going, but he didn't anwswer his phone. Gwen frowned, but told herself it was natural, and he wasn't always going to be able to pick up every call she made.
Thankfully her fill-in job wasn't too different from her own, allowing her to be able to know exactly what to do. She managed to quickly finish writing and filing a few piles and she dropped them off at the desk on her way out, before a voice stopped her,
"Excuse me, Miss. Stacy?" Gwen turned around as the woman spoke. "I'm sorry but you must deliver these to Mr. Osborn himself."
Gwen's stomach dropped, but she plastered on a fake smile and took the file as she began to make her way to Mr. Osborn's office.
Ugh, why me?!
Just like before, Gwen knocked at the door softly as she tried to calm herself.
I swear if he looks at me the way he did last time I'll-
"Come in," His voice said and she reluctantly did as she was told. Harry looked worse-far worse. His eyes had bags underneath them, and his face was as white as a sheet. It looked to be a miracle he even managed to be awake. "Ahh, thank you, Ms. Stacy."
She handed him the file as fast as she could before turning to leave, but he said, "Are you feeling better? I knew the cancer was getting to you."
Gwen slowly turned around, "What do you mean? How did you..." Okay, now she was really creeped out by this guy.
But he managed to casually anwser, "Peter told me."
"What?"
"He didn't tell you?" Gwen kept her gaze neutral and Harry smirked as he looked down. "Your boyfriend didn't tell you how he came into this office around two days ago and started telling me about you and him. Different things." He then added quietly, "Are you sure you know everthing about him? What could he be keeping from you, Miss. Stacy?"
Cold chills began running down Gwen's spine. "After all," He continued. "Why wouldn't he mention how he came and talked to me earlier this week? I am your boss."
Gwen stumbled for words, "I need to go, Mr. Osborn"
"Of course you do," Harry nodded.
Gwen practically ran to the elevator. No, she wasn't mad at Peter, not at all. He was Spiderman, and he had a right to talk to anybody he wanted to. Him and Harry were once best friends after all.
But she also knew there was something behind Peter's visit, it wasn't a simple social call. She knew he wasn't telling her something, and that did bother her. Didn't he say he would inform her as soon as he picked up another clue?
Once she made it outside the doors of Ocorp, she called Peter, and this time he anwsered. "Oh, Gwen, I'm so sorry I didn't call you back! Where are you?"
"Oscorp." She responded shortly.
"What?!" Peter said, sounding alarmed. "No. What are you doing?"
"Peter," Gwen sighed. "We need to talk."
