So how is this story going so far? Please comment and tell me your thoughts in the comments.

This song is Right Here, Right Now from High School Musical 3: Senior Year and sung by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. (Let's all just agree now HSM was everything.)

Anyways, here's Chapter Nine......

Peter stared at his phone for a few moments, completely frozen in shock along with sadness. By then he was the only person standing in the hallway. He looked at the clock and saw he was already four minutes late to his first class, and he really wasn't in the mood to listen to another of Mr. Garfield's lectures on tardiness.

Taking one quick glance behind him, he began walking towards the front door of the school, and once he was out, he ran. He didn't even stop to quickly scale a window, he simply ran. In under five minutes, he was climbing his way up Gwen's fire escape.

He took a peek through her window and quietly tapped on it, but normally cheery Gwen wasn't there to flash him a smile and and greet him with a kiss. Peter put his hand to the window and peeked under it to see a figure curled up on the floor.

Gwen.

As quietly as possible, Peter eased the window open, and silently landed his feet on the floor. Gwen was on the ground, and he could see she was quietly crying.

"I thought you had an appointment," Peter said simply.

Gwen spun around, and Peter's heart immediately broke at the sight of her. Gwen's hair was rumpled, and tears were falling down her cheeks, but she was still the most beautiful girl Peter had ever seen. She hastily wiped her eyes and looked down before responding,"Oh, Peter, what are you doing here?"

He moved closer to her and bent down so they were eye level. Ignoring her question, he instead asked one of his own, "You never really had an appointment did you?"

She nodded before sighing as she turned away, "I'm sorry, Peter, truly I am, but I love you a-"

Before she could say another word, Peter cut her off by pressing his lips against hers. Gwen, seemed startled at first, easily began kissing him back.

It felt amazing, to say the least. They hadn't kissed in weeks, and Peter didn't know how he was able to last that long.

When they pulled away for air, Gwen breathlessly said, "Peter..."

"No," He said and help up his hand, "I love you too, Gwen, and that's why I'm going to stay with you." He put his forehead against hers, "Please."

Gwen smiled, her first real one in days. She nodded her head before connecting their lips once again. This kiss was more passionate than the first, but still soft.

She pulled away and rested her head against his chest, and he put his arms around her. She didn't ask why he wasn't at school, or how he got into her room (Though she had a pretty good idea). And he didn't push her for answers either. They simply stayed there, Peter's hand around her waist as Gwen leaned into his embrace, neither saying a word.

Because sometimes, words simply weren't needed.

Okay, so I normally don't do Author's Notes at the end, but I really need help!

How would you guys like Gwen's cancer to go? Where should the cancer take her?

I have a few ideas of my own, but I really want your feedback on this. Would you guys like Gwen to eventually die? Or should the cancer go away somehow (In a non-cheesy or stupid way I promise).

Please tell me your ideas, I need them to help this story grow!!!
