dim lights, sunrise
alley whispers, city lights
one cup, no sugar
in one second, he pulled the trigger
second cup, heavy eyes
silent cries and bleeding skies
third cup, head aching,
heart is numb, yet it's still breaking
fourth cup, mania
poison clinging to your trachea
fifth cup, seconds are only replacements
thoughtless actions, no explanation
sixth cup, 'miss, you should head home'
they say home is where the heart is
but my heart is in a million pieces sir
which one shall I follow?
the stolen ones or the broken ones
I cannot tell them apart
'the last bit you saved in the corner of your heart
when hope was still an option
so go ahead and save yourself
for you are worthy of a million chances'
