does it make you shiver when the wind blows into your ears? does it tickle you so?
I have heard that fairies carry secrets with them, so listen carefully, dear.
does the feel of the grass against the soles of feet tickle?
every blade swishing in harmony to the melody of the morning breeze
the soft rustling and the hidden laughter
has the night stolen your dreams from you again?
don't fear for the night is a known thief.
have you had a good time picking strawberries today?
in the heat of the spring your hair flows like gold and your eyes glass doors to something magical
it's in the eyes,
look for the truth, the hope, and the spark
look for a hint, look for the sign
through the eyes you will see you soul reflected back
staring at you and at that moment you will know.
does he make you feel like a dream, my love?
like galaxies are exploding in you;
this is what you are made of
you are a burning star
don't you spoil that pretty face,
wipe those crystal tears
you are not broken, just a little bit creased
did he break your pretty heart?
push that thought away,
for he is just another page to turn
and libraries are never empty.
you need to learn,
not everyone basks in the light
many fear it's brightness
others fear it's heat
and then there are the rare ones who chase the light, no matter how far it may be
and darling, you will be the light at the end of the tunnel
and he will be your undoing
so save him,
burn for him.
you are a star.
you are my star.
but what you don't know
is that the very stars we see
has long exploded ages ago.
but have faith in the unknown
we're all part of a plan
you exist in the celestial sky
somewhere your name is engraved
I will still pray
every time I look up
and that's the kind of hope
I want you to have.
you have passed ages ago
but your light still burns brighter than ever
a million years later.
don't let immortality intimidate you.
