Jasmine's POV

"C'mon guys, don't y'all wanna go play volleyball? There's a bunch of cute guys over there!" I tried to get Lacey and Rachel to cooperate with each other. We were at my college friend's beach party and I really wanted to go play volleyball in the sand over there instead of just standing here under the tent with the rest of the wall flowers, but like I told Lacey yesterday, I wasn't leaving her side anymore. This was her week to visit America and have some fun and to get closer to me since the whole point of this little trip was so we could see each other in real life for the first time but right now she was acting really sad but every time I asked her what was wrong, she just said it was nothing and continued to mope.
Obviously she and Rachel had some kind of falling out last night that I was too drunk to remember because Rachel was being completely silent as well. Either that or they were both mad at me, but if that was the case I figured they would at least speak to each other. Ugh, this would be so much easier if I had any memory at all.
The last thing I remember from Jason's house last night was downing two glasses of Grey Goose in his kitchen and then grabbing Lacey so we could go dance. Rachel must be right about me having an extremely low alcohol tolerance because I do remember that that was after we first got there. Okay, so I grabbed Lacey... where was Rachel when that was happening? Maybe she stayed around to flirt with Jason? I honestly have no recollection after that. All I know is that it's impossible to get Rachel and Lacey to speak to each other at this point or to get either of them to speak to me.
"Guys, come on! This is supposed to be fun! If you're too hung over, then you should have told me we need to stay home and have a chill night tonight. If it's something else, you're still going to have to talk to me. I can't fix the problem if I don't know what it is," I crossed my arms over my hot pink bikini that I'd bought in town on the first day after Lacey had arrived here. That seemed like ages ago now even though I knew it was only the day before yesterday.
"I'm not hung over," Lacey said, not meeting my eyes to speak to me. "Both of you know that I've never drank and I never will drink."
"Then what's wrong?!" I exclaimed.
Nothing.
"Fine, stay here and pout like a couple of two year olds. I'm going to get myself a strawberry dacqueri and then to play some beach volleyball," I strutted away from my two "friends." I'd had it for today. We can resolve things tomorrow when we're not in front of a bunch of people I know and when I've calmed down a bit.

Rachel's POV

Jasmine really is clueless if she doesn't know what she's done by now. Serves me right for trying to be friends with a popular blonde. No matter how nice Jasmine seems, she's still just another stereo typical mean girl inside.
I can't believe she's been neglecting hanging out with me just to be around her new, better, more exotic internet friend. When she told me she wanted to use our savings to buy Lacey a plane ticket, she didn't tell me it was because she was tired of being friends with me, the girl she's known since kindergarten. I'd have not given her my half of the money. She could find someone else to beg for a plane ticket from.
