Michael's POV

Hanging out with Jasmine during the intermission of the show was nice. She seems like a really nice person to be around. I was actually kind of sad when we had to leave the dressing room and go out to play the second set. Closer to the end of show time means closer to the meeting the VIPs and I kind of liked holding onto this hope that Lacey might show up. I didn't want to be disappointed like I knew I would be soon in a few hours.

Even with all these things in the back of mind, I still managed to make it through Catch Fire, Permanent Vacation, Jet Black Heart, Eighteen, Beside You, Money, and Carry On/Outer Space with minimal damage. There was one minor episode where I may or may not have tripped over a hazardously placed extension cord and almost fell on top of Luke, not to mention both of our thousand dollar guitars that had the chance of being broken. Good going Michael, this would defiantly be all over the internet the next day. And then of course Luke had to call attention to it.

"That was some great singing, I love it when you guys sing along," everyone screamed when Luke had made this comment at the end of the song, Eighteen.

"Yeah, it was! But maybe you guys were so great that you had Michael falling for you." The crowd screamed again, some louder than others. Probably the 'Michael girls.'

"Yeah yeah, good one Calum," I rolled my eyes and tried to laugh it off. I guess I'm already kind of known as the silly one, so why not just embrace it. I played a riff on my guitar while Luke talked again just for fun.

"This is another one you guys have all probably heard before, it's called Beside You," more screams. They liked it when we talked to them, I guess. I started playing and Luke sang.

"Within a minuet I was all packed up..."

"Congrats on another successful show, boys," our tour manager greeted us when we came into our dressing room that evening.

"Thanks," Ashton nodded to him before we all raced to the table set up with drinks and stuff. All four of us grabbed a water bottle and just started chugging.

"Ugh, I wish we weren't always so sweaty after we play," Luke whined.

"Luke, you don't sweat, you glisten," I assured him.

"Yeah, cause you're a lady," Calum said making us all laugh.

"I'm not a lady," Luke sat on the couch, crossed his arms, and pouted, leaving us in hysterics.

"Guys, where's my Vegemite? Am I supposed to eat this dry toast?" Calum and I groaned.

"We're in a band with a couple of divas," we said in unison before falling on the couch with uncontrollable laughter.

"We're not divas, we're a serious band," Luke said as he fanned himself with a magazine- his copy of Seventeen with Shawn Mendez on the cover- and Ashton munched on his toast. Calum and I just laughed some more.

As

the laughter, died down, everyone got calm and Calum and I sat up on the couch, joining Ashton and Luke. Ashton sighed. "Well, ready to meet these VIP people?" He asked. "They should be coming in any moment."
