I woke the next morning to a pounding headache. It honestly felt as though I had went to a liquor store and had drank every bottle they had! Could this have need from that bug bite? No. Bug bites don't give people these kinds of symptoms unless they are poisonous, right...? My father begrudgingly allowed me to remain home when I explained how I felt and wished me well before leaving for work.

The minutes ticked by like molasses and I finally had to get some fresh air in my lungs. For the first time in my life, I felt claustrophobic in my own house and staggered around as if I was drunk. My rubbery legs carried my sleep laden body out into the soft rays of sunlight and the change happened instantly. The vicious headache vanished and my entire body felt like I had touched a live power line; ready for just about anything.

As I was trying to come to grips with what just happened, I suddenly felt hot. Not the 'perverted' hot, but the temperature kind. It soon brought tears to my eyes as I finally allowed myself to scream at the sky. My body began to jolt and curl in on itself with sickening pops announcing that my bones hadn't been able to take the intensity. The unrelenting agony became unbearable as I screamed one last time before I plunged into darkness.

I had no idea how long I was out, but when I woke up, I knew deep down that I had changed. . . The view of the street I had wasn't one I would get if I was laying on the pavement and my weight was now distributed evenly on four points. Wait. . . Four points?! My panic only grew when I heard a rumble of an engine and I began to move toward the street. What is going on with me?! How do I stop!? My 'body' reacted by lurching to a halt and I suddenly realized what I had turned into: I am now a car. . .

   I. Flipped. Out.

Yes,I'll admit, I flew into an all out panic attack and you would too if it happened to you! My new form responded to this by blaring on the horn for a full three minutes before I got control of myself. How did this happen?

I felt my new engine purring under the hood and I decided to test this newest development out. It took me a little bit to remember exactly how to drive since I was the car now, but I was soon driving down my road towards town. I halted at the stop sign, turned left, and headed toward my dad's restaurant. I wonder what I look like. . . I hope it's a good type and not a rust bucket.

As I passed the hospital, I caught a glimpse of myself in the glass and almost stopped dead in the middle of the road. I was now a Onyx Black BMW M5 (picture at the top) with a perfect paint job. Blue highlights were just visible if the sun hit me at the right angle and I soon realized that I was in love with my newest look.

All day I drove around town and I even went by my school, chuckling as my classmates looked at me in awe. My fear had vanished as I legally completed a U-turn to go home; however, one question did spring to mind: "How would I change back?" I parked in my driveway and thought it over for a few minutes before I heard the sound of my dad's Camaro coming. "Shoot! What am I going to do?!"

I stayed still as stone as my dad pulled into the garage and slowly came towards me. He looked me over carefully, nodded in appreciation of the craftsmanship and beauty. "I wonder where you came from," he pondered a moment before he shook his head and walked into the house.

Only once I knew he was gone, I concentrated with all my might and I suddenly felt the change happening again. The sleek metal slowly transformed back into my corded muscles and I didn't hear as many sickening pops coming from my bones this time around. My body didn't burn up either like before and I was myself again.

My dad came back outside and looked surprised to see me standing in the driveway with only my pajama bottoms on, "What are you doing out here? You feeling better?"

"Much better, Dad." I smiled at him and allowed him to guide me back inside. My body was still humming with new energy from the transformation and I eagerly tucked into the food my father had brought home with him.

He chuckled softly and then asked, "When did you get your right ear pierced, Terrance?"

My heart almost stopped. "I have a pierced right ear?" Sure enough, when my fingers gently brushed my earlobe they encountered a cool metal stud. I shrugged and shakily said, "I... I got it pierced today, actually. The earring looked really cool and I paid for it with my own money, so..." I was surprised when he only nodded and then just went about his business for the night.

When the opportunity came around, I dashed up to my bathroom and gazed at the earring that had magically pierced my ear. My shock doubled when I saw the stud happened to be the Autobot symbol. No way. . . This is just a very bad dream and I will be fine tomorrow, right? I'm not an Autobot. I struggled to convince myself that I would be fine the next day; however, doubt still lingered in the recesses of my mind. If it was true... How would I explain the situation to my dad? Would he take the news well, or freak out? It was expected that he wouldn't take it very well since he was so protective of me to begin with, but I decided to give him the smallest benefit of the doubt for the moment. I went to bed that night hoping and silently praying that I would be normal in the morning.

I woke up to the sound of an air horn that was positioned right next to my ear and this caused me to leap straight from the bed only to slam to the unforgiving floor. My eyes adjusted slowly to see my freak of a step mother standing over me with a look of utter disgust gracing her pinched face. I groaned and thought, "Good morning to you too, freaky Kitty."

Yep. Her name was Kitty and I had no clue as to why my father was dating such a jerk in the first place; however, he seemed happy with her and I wasn't about to utter a single complaint. Yet. She blared the horn again in my direction and shrieked, "Get up already! Your father has breakfast on the table and it will get cold if you don't hurry up."

I groaned in response as I rolled onto my stomach and army crawled carefully towards the bathroom. Hey, I wasn't about to be a ray of sunshine at the moment after being woken up in that manner. Can you blame me? I dragged myself into the bathroom and took a long shower, allowing the warm water wash away  my drowsiness.

In my honest opinion, the woman was a monster with too much makeup and she always wore heels taller than what was ever necessary. She looked like she was trying to impersonate Marylyn Monroe; however, she was failing miserably. Kitty was fawning over my father as I descended the stairs and poked my head into the kitchen. Her shrill voice sounded loud enough to break glass and I was personally surprised that it hadn't happened yet, "I really want to go out with Terry today to a new store that opened the other day, Aaron. I think he'd really kill the clothes and other things they have there."

I inwardly cringed at those words and tried to make a quick get-away; however, my father's voice sounded like my death toll, "Terry! Come in here and eat some breakfast before you go with Kitty to a new store."

Breakfast was eaten in silence. This wasn't something I had planned on doing today and I sent a pleading look towards my dad. He gave me a stern look and I knew he wasn't going to argue with me. Little did I know that this day would be way worse than I thought it would be and would change my life forever.
