Chapter 4
TAYLOR'S P. O. V.
After my shower filled with coconut wonders, I changed into my clothes, which consisted of a black tank top with a yellow smiley face, and short ripped jeans. My hair flowed down my back, the ends tickling my elbows. Slipping on my bracelets and shoving my feet into yellow vans, I made my way downstairs.
Walking into the kitchen, I saw Lauren munching happily on her breakfast.
"I made toaster strudles." Lauren said, pushing the other plate towards me.
I reply with a quick "Thanks", already taking a huge bite. I breathe in as the cinnamon fills my tastebuds. Damn, I love these things.
"What do you want to drink?" I asked, making my way to the fridge.
"Juice box." I grabbed a grape juice box and a Sunny D for myself. We ate in a comfortable silence. When we finished, it was 7:05.
"Where the hell is Blake?" I asked Lauren, which was putting the plates in the sink.
"I don't know, I'm his girlfriend, not his planner." She said in an exasperated tone.
Blake was taking us to school today. Since Lauren slept over last night without packing, I let her borrow the dress she bought me for my birthday last year in October. I don't know what she was thinking, buying me a dress. Anyway, she left her bookbag at her house, so she called Blake this morning to stop at her house to get it, then pick both of us up. I swear she had that boy wrapped around her finger.
Finally, at 7:12, we heard a car horn outside.
"You jackass, what took you so long?" I all but yelled at Blake, buckling myself in the back seat.
"Had to pick up this dumb shit too. He was still sleeping when I got there." He pointed his thumb to the passenger seat. It wasn't until then when I noticed that Zach was there. Oh yeah, he had battery problems with his car. Zach turned around to face me and Lauren in the backseat.
"Baby girl, Lauren." He said, giving us each a nod as greeting. He eyed me up and down shamelessly before turning around and facing foward. I say nothing, as the two boys sifted into conversation about their practice.
When Blake parks his car, Zach quickly jumps out and head into the school, texting on his phone. Blake stays behind, holding Lauren's hand. We make small talk, and depart once we get into the building.
I made my way to my locker, and what do you know, there is Zach, leaning against it. Know what's better? He wasn't alone, there was a blonde hair, big ass, girl with him. Want to know tops it all off? They were shoving their tongues down each other's throat. I feel my eyes narrowing in disgust. This is the shit I'm talking about. He's always doing something, I don't know, gross. I can't ever voice these thoughts though, because then he might take it as jealously, and we can't have that. I mean, he's a player. It's what he does.
I cleared my throat. They still were lip locked, and the girl let out a husky moan. Oh God. I couldn't take it. I let out a loud laugh. It's not like they noticed me there anyway. After a few more seconds of trying to get to my locker, the bell rang, signaling first period. They finally broke away.
"If you guys are done making babies in front of my locker, I suggest you move away from it." I said, a smile still etched out on my face. Zach turned to me with a smirk. He had lip stick all over his lips, and smeared on his neck .This girl was a sloppy one. I snorted.
Zach furrowed his eyebrows and glared at me as the girl rushed to the bathroom, probably to fix her lipstick. He let out a frustrated groan.
"You have something- a little bit-" I said pointing in a circle to his lips and neck. Confused, he use the back of his hands to rub his lips. He looked down at his hand and saw the lipstick smears.
