Chapter 29.
TAYLOR'S P. O. V.
Me and Blake played Tetris for an hour on the Wii, him winning every round. I hate Tetris so much, but he suggested it and neither Zach nor Lauren wanted to play so I joined him. After an hour of watching me continuously lose, Zach announces, "Lets go eat now, before I have to watch an other round of this."
"Thank God," I say and stand from the floor, "I hate that game so much." Lauren stretches her arms out and hooks one around Blake. "Nice job, babe. I think that's the only game you'll ever beat Taylor at."
As we make our way to the kitchen, I ask, "Wanna rematch by playing Mario Kart?"
I hear Blake laugh. "Nope."
I open the fridge, and only have to scan for a couple second before I start pulling out the food we need to get rid of. I never realized how many different foods were in here. I pile them all onto the table, ranging from grapes to leftover tuna salad to juices to sodas. Once most things were taken out, I got a garbage bag and told everyone to throw away whatever they knew they weren't going to eat.

"A game? What kind of game?" Blake asked, while chewing on his omelette.
"I don't know," I say, reaching in the fridge for a pudding cup, "anything to make this more entertaining." We have eaten earlier and we are doing our second round and it seems so stupid. Just as I grasp what I've been searching for, I find... wine coolers?
"I never knew this was in here." I take out two unopened packs of bottled alcohol.
"No way!" Lauren yells, abandoning her apples and peanut butter to see more clearly.
"Strawberry Daquiri? Blue fizz? These are so girly. I'm not drinking this shit." Zach says, flicking the package.
I laugh at him. "Who says it's for you? I happen to love wine coolers." Popping off the cap of a Strawberry Daquiri, I take a swig. The fruity taste yet harsh burn are a heavenly match.
"I thought you didn't drink."
"I said I don't drink much, but this is the type of alcohol I like." I raise an eyebrow at him and tip the bottle back again. Smirking, I take a seat back on the stool. "Now back to this game, does anybody have an idea?"
Blake and Lauren shrug, but Zach just looks at me funny and doesn't respond. I look around, spotting a bandana tied around a hook on the wall with the oven mitts. My dad wears it when he makes dinner because it puts him "in the cooking mood"
"Can you get me that bandana?" I ask Zach, pointing to the hook. He grabs it, and throws it at me while slightly smiling.
"If I fold it like this..." I mumble, trailing off as I make two corners meet and fold it over. "... and there we go! It's a blindfold."
"What are we supposed to do with a blindfold?" Zach questions, leaning against the counter, eyes sparkling with interest.
"Come here and I'll show you," I hop off the stool.
He circles around the counter and stands by me. "Sit and take off your glasses." He does as I say, and his eyes meet mine again waiting for further instructions. "Now tie this around your eyes."
"You do it." Zach says. I roll my eyes, but wrap it around his eyes.
"You're such a baby."
"Don't tie it too tight." He warns.
"Big fucking baby." I mutter. My fingers brush against the back of his head, my hands itching to tangle themselves into his hair. I complete the knot and step back.
