The Arrivel (Nick)

Your P.O.V

"Get up everyone we need to get moving" I slowly open my eyes, seeing Uni waking everyone up.

I turn on my side and see Nick still asleep next to me.
I begin poking his cheeks until he woke up.

"Morning" he says.
"Morning, now get your lazy ass up, we have to get moving" I jump up and quickly grab my things.

Nick laughs and gets up out of bed, he also grabs all of his things. We then join the others outside, which they have been waiting for us for a bit now.

"Well took you long enough" Cory says.
"Hey look, we are here now so let's get going" I throw my back over my shoulder and take out my gun.

"Woah don't be pointing that at me" Ak steps back a bit. "Oh come on, you really don't think I know how to use this, I have been surviving on my own for a while now so I think your fine"

I roll my eyes and begin walking south.
"Hey wait, how do you know the south is that way" Nick yells to me.
"Do you see that rising sun, which comes up in the east" everyone quickly caught on to what I was getting at, and followed in my direction.

"Ugghh we have been walking for hours" I complain.
"We have been walking for 45 minutes" Ghetto says.
"Yah but I'm tired"
I continue to complain, but seeing that it was beginning to bother everyone I decided to stop.

Nick walked up next to me.
"Hey, thanks for staying with me last night" I look up at him and he smiles.
"Yah no problem"

We were walking for about 3-4 hours, I don't even know how long.
We then came across a highway.
"Be carful, there are walkers up ahead"

I crouch down and try to stay quiet, while Ak, Ghetto, and Nick take them out with their silenced weapons.

We then heard a loud noise, something I haven't heard in a while.
I look up and see a helicopter landing not to far from us.

We all hide in the trees.
"Do you think they noticed us" Cory asks.
"Come out of the trees now, put away all weapons and come out slowly"

"Wait, do you guys recognize that voice?" Nick asks. He then puts away his gun and walked out.
"Major Gray, what a surprise seeing you here"

"Nick, I didn't think I would ever bump into you again"

Our group then slowly walks out from the trees and over to Nick.
"Nice to see you all again, and I see you have made some new friends since we last met"

"Oh right, Major Gray, this is General Uni, Sergeant Cory, and (Y/N)"
Nick introduce us all.

"Ok well I would love to stay and chat but there is a horde not to far from here, if you want, you can come with me to the CDC" Gray offers.

"Actually that would be great, that's the reason why we came here." Nick says.
"Then just follow me to my helicopter and we will be on our way"

We all walked over to the chopper, Ak sitting in the front, with everyone else in the back.

I've always hated being in the air, or on any aircraft. I was practically shaking in my seat. Nick noticed and grabbed my hand.

"It will be fine, trust me" He gave me a warm smile, which helped a lot.

In no time, which to me it felt like ages, we finally arrived at the CDC.
"Wow, so this place actually has people living here" everyone was stunned.
"Yah yah, the people are cool and all, but is there food" I say.

Everyone laughs.
"What I enjoy food, and I haven't had a decent meal in ages"
"Then you will like it here, we have tons of food to offer" Gray explains.

After hearing that, I immediately ran into the CDC not even caring that I had no clue where I was going.
But surprisingly I found my way to the kitchen pretty fast.

I grabbed some fresh fruit and walked over to the tables. I then see Ghetto walk into the room.
"Found her!" Her yelled.

He then sat down next to me and pulled out a can of peaches.
"Do you ever run out of those"
I chuckle.
"No of course not"

To be honest, me and Ghetto have become great friends, I spoke with him a lot during our journey to the CDC.
Nick and I are probably closest, but Ghetto is definitely a runner up.

Ghetto begins to yawn, which then causes me to yawn. "I hate you, you made me yawn" I pushed him, which he then acted like he was falling to his death.
"Near, far, wherever you are" he starts singing the song from Titanic which causes me to burst out laughing.

"No Jack, I will never let go"
(I have never watched the Titanic so I don't know what they say)
By that time we were on the ground laughing our asses off.

"You guys ok?" I stand up and see Nick.
"No does it look like we are ok? Jack just died"
"Well then, I just came in here to tell you that I'm going to bed"

I begin to yawn again.
"You know what, I shall come with you, bye Ghetto"
I wave back to Ghetto, and he waves as well "have a nice rest (Y/N)"

Me and Nick walk into a room with a bed on the left and right side of the wall.
"I call dibs on right wall" I say, running in and jumping onto the bed.
Nick laughs.

"Ok, goodnight"
"Night"

Nicks P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of (Y/N) sobbing. I get up, walk over to her bed and wrap my arms around her.
She flinches at first, but then realizes that it's just me.

"Nightmares again?" I ask.
"Memories"

I hold her tighter, making sure she knows that she is safe.

"Nick?"
"Yeah?"
"Why didn't you shoot me when we first met? You had the chance to"
"Because I knew you were a good person, and to be honest, when I saw you, you were beautiful. You were the light that this darkened world needs"

She looks up at me and smiles.

"Nick?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you love me?"

I hesitate for a second then answer.
"Yes"

"Good, cause I love you to"

I smile and lean down.
Our lips connect, this is the passion I have been waiting for. When we kissed her beauty lit up the room like the stars would the night sky.

We pulled apart.
"(Y/N)... Will you be my shining star?"
All she does is nod.
We both smile and kiss once more.

"Now get back to your own bed, I'm going back to sleep" she says, pushing me away from her.

All I do is listen and obey.
'I love this girl so much'

A/N: Wow this chapter was boring as hell XD trust me the next one will be better, shit will hit the fan... I think... I can't remember if it will be next chapter or the one after... BUT STUFF IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN..
