Nothing (Cory)

Your P.O.V

I open the door and see that no one is there. I slowly walk in and check the corners.
I turn to my left and see that slut making out with my boyfriend.

They have yet to notice me and I wanted to rip her off of him but I couldn't. My mind wouldn't let me.

I could feel my eyes begin to tear up. The girl pulled away and Cory saw me behind her. His eyes were filled with sorrow, and his face was pale.

The girl turned around.
"So this is your girlfriend" she said pointing to me.
"Ex" I spat out. Turning around and walking out of the room, slamming the door shut on the way out.

I storm by Alex and Barney and before I could go any farther Alex stopped me.
"What happened?" She asked.
I couldn't speak, the words wouldn't come out.

The girl then walked past us, smirking at me the whole time. She then went down the stairs and out the front door.

"That's all I had to see to know what happened, and Cory is dead" Alex said.

She walked in the direction of the room and was out of sight once she walked through the door.
Barney gave me a hug, knowing I was upset.

I heard Cory screaming and he then ran through the door and towards us.
"Barney your girlfriend is trying to kill me. We are friends, can you try and stop her" he asked.

"I heards what you did to (Y/N)'s, you aren't gettings any help from me"

I sighed.
"Alex... Stop"
She looked at me and nodded, walking away with Barney.
Cory stood there staring at me.

"Please (Y/N), will you let me explain"

"No"

"I swear it's not what you think it was"

"I saw what I saw, and you better leave before I get Alex to come back. And I wonder what Adam would think about this" I said coldly.

"(Y/N) please, I love you" he brought up his hand to my face, but I smacked it away.
"Leave before I change my mind"

A tear slid down his face. Cory turned around, and left the offices.

I collapsed to the ground, tears pouring from my eyes.
The pain Cory has caused me today...
I never want to see him again.

Adam walks up to me and leans down.
"Barney told me everything, if you want I can try to keep Cory away from you"
I nod my head no.
"You don't have to do anything. Cory can and will come to work tomorrow, and I won't be here... I'm going to take a few days off"

"Ok" Adam got up and left.
All alone once more, drowning in the tears that Cory has caused.

The pain and darkness closing in on me all because of Corys mistake.

And it all just went away.

Nothing but the world around me.

All that pain and sadness has gone. I feel nothing.

I got up to my feet and whipped the tears from my cheeks.
I walked down the stairs and out the door. Leaving the office far behind me.

There's no more heartache, no more love, no more suffering. All emotion is gone.

I arrived at my house and sat on the couch.
I turned on my phone and saw that everyone was messaging me.
I shut down my phone and tossed it across the couch.

I haven't eaten yet today, but I don't feel hungry. So I went upstairs to my room and laid on my bed.
I looked over at my computer sitting on the table and saw that I was still logged into MineCraft.

'Maybe Video games will help'

I was about to get up but I realized that I didn't really feel like playing games either. I didn't want to do anything except lay in bed.

'Have I gone insane, am I crazy? Who knows, but I might actually enjoy this'

A/N: yes I know I didn't upload Wednesday, or Friday, or Monday. But like I said last chapter I have been busy. I have also changed my uploading schedule to Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have a little more time to work on the chapter and also do my school work. Once school is finished (June 21st) I will begin uploading on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays again.
But until then, like, comment, all that stuff and I will talk to you all later.
