Chapter 3: Car Crashes and Comas

*Penelope's pov*

[The car flips several times Malaya, Lexi, Quinn and Abby aren't moving I say:]

"Lexi! Malaya! Quinn! Abby! Can you guys hear me? Come on wake up!"[I try to get out of my seatbelt I'm stuck in I look for my phone I grab someone's phone and call Erin ; she answers:]

"Malaya?"

"No. It's Penelope. We got into a car accident."

"Okay where are you?"

"Um halfway to Lake Louise. The girls aren't moving and I can't get them to wake up."

"Who's with you?"

"Malaya, Quinn, Abby and Lexi."

"Hang up and call an ambulance. Don't try to move the girls okay?"

"Okay."

"Penelope."

"Yes?"

"I'm glad you're okay and they will be okay. Stay in the car."

[I hang up and turn the flashlight on I find Abby's pocketknife I cut myself out of the seatbelt ; I can't feel my left arm I climb out the windshield ; I take all of our bags out I call an ambulance I'm waiting for the ambulance when I see headlights coming with a siren I get out of the car Dylan, Truck 81 and the paramedics get out. I run over to Dylan she hugs me I start crying she says:]

"Penelope I want you to go sit in the back of the ambulance with Brax."

"No! I won't leave them! I won't."

"Okay."[Chief Boden and Squad 3 arrive I go over to the car Abby and Quinn are awake they are banged up bad I say:]"Hey. Don't try to move okay?"

"Where's Penelope?"

"Right out here."

"What happened?"

"My guess is some idiot ran the red light and you guys flipped a lot. Brax get me two c-collars."[Cruz pries the doors open with the jaws I put the collar on Abby and try to gently lift her out she screams in pain I ask:]"What's wrong?"

"My foot it's crushed under the seat."

"Mouch airbags. We need to get her foot out now!"[we get Abby's foot out I set her on the stretcher I slide into the backseat and put the collar on Quinn she says:]

"I can't feel my arm and I think I somehow twisted my ankle."

"We're gonna get you out. I promise."

[The driver of the truck that ran the red light gets out and starts to run I start running after him Casey, Cruz, Shay and Boden are yelling at me to stop I hear someone say:]

"Wow. She's fast."

[I tackle him throwing him to the ground I kick him in the groin several times and punch him in the face I'm sitting on top of him ; he has a bloody nose a fractured jaw and his lips are bloody when Erin, Voight and intelligence pulls up Voight looks at him then me he says:]

"Did all of this blood come from you?"

"Four of my best friends aren't moving and they could die."[I hear Abby yell:]

"Penelope!"

"You guys got him?"

"Yea."

[I get off of him Voight grabs him and handcuffs him I go over to Abby I hug her and say:]

"Oh. I'm so glad you woke up. Quinn!"

"Hey. I'm okay."

"Are Lexi and Malaya awake yet?"
