Chapter 27: Expecting

*Lexi's pov*

[Alexis and I go to my house Lady runs over I pick her up and say:]

"Hello Lady. Did you miss mommy? Hmm? Oh you're such a good girl."[Lady licks my face Grant comes into the living room he says:]

"Hey Alexis. I thought you were out with Dakota."

"Your aunt is a bitch."

"Why?"

"She said I wasn't a dancer just because I haven't gotten a scholarship from Juliard yet. And she practically forced Dakota and I to break up."

"I'm sorry. I will talk to her."

"Really?"

"Yea. You should get some sleep. You've had a long night. Sorry I couldn't make your game. I was wiped out."

"That's okay. You already made it up to me."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll find out when you get your credit card bill. Goodnight guys."

"Night."[Alexis goes upstairs I go into the kitchen and make a sandwich ; Grant comes over to me he kisses my neck and shoulders. He wraps his arms around me and says:]

"Why don't we go out to the pool and we can relax?"

"Where were you?"

"I had a client. Someone was looking to remodel and I helped her come up with a good blueprint."

"Her?"

"Oh come on now. You know I have female clients."

"One thing I do know is that your client better know that you're married."

"It's Harvey and trust me she definitely knows that I'm married."

"Do you wanna keep talking or do you want me to show you my new bathing suit?"

"Bathing suit."

"I will be right back don't go anywhere."

"I won't."[we kiss slowly and passionately I pull Lexi closer to me and start kissing her neck while grabbing her butt Lexi says:]

"Mm. That feels good. So I have to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"So I know we said that we would wait for at least three years before having kids."

"Yea."

"I think I'm pregnant."[Grant stops kissing my neck he steps back and says:]

"Are you serious?"

"Yea."

"Have you been to the doctor yet?"

"No. I made an appointment and it would mean everything to me if you were there."

"When is it?"

"Tomorrow at ten."

"I will move stuff around and be there."

"Really?"

"Yes. Baby listen if you are pregnant I want you to cut back on your hours at the bar."

"Okay. Can we get back to the kissing now?"[Grant laughs and kisses me we kiss slowly and passionately I pull away and say:]"If I am then I can't drink for nine months. Crap."[Grant starts laughing he is still laughing when I strip down to my lingerie and go out to the pool I hear him say:]

"God I love you. I'm a blessed man. I don't deserve you."[I take my shirt off and go outside on the deck Lexi is in the pool leaning against a wall I see her lingerie on the deck she says:]
