*Alexis' pov*
[A month later November 1st Emma and I are at home she's in the playpen the front door opens Brysen asks:]
"Anybody home?"
"Hey! I thought you weren't coming home till next week."[we kiss slowly and passionately Brysen pulls away and says:]
"I had the chance to catch an earlier hop so I took it."
"Brysen I think I'm pregnant."
"Really? I've been gone for a while."
"Labor Day weekend. I made an overnight out to see you. Hotel security came to the door."
"Right. Have you been to the doctor?"
"My appointment is in twenty minutes."
"I'll go with you."
"No you just got home. Enjoy your time with the baby. I got a job."
"That's great. Doing what?"
"I am an art teacher at the elementary school."
"Do you like it?"
"Yea. These kids are so talented. We're hosting a dinner party tonight."
"I could use more than four hour notice."
"Well I'm sorry but your case was in Vermont. How was your trip? Did everything go the way you wanted it to?"
"I won."
"Oh baby I'm so proud of you. I knew you could do it. I have to go but we'll celebrate tonight."[We kiss slowly and passionately I pull away and go upstairs and get dressed I put on black jeans and my black sweater I put my shoes on and leave I go to Med. Maggie says:]
"Hey. I have great news."
"Yea?"
"Dylan woke up."
"What? When? That's great."
"Just now. None of you came by to see her?"
"We have families and jobs. Where is Dylan anyway?"
"In the conference room she doesn't remember anything about the attack."
"I guess that's a good thing."
"Yea. Can I help you with something?"
"I'm here to see Dr. Amirez."
"The OB?"
"Yea."
"She just went on vacation. Sorry. Natalie can help you though."
"Okay."
"Follow me."[We get on the elevator I ask:]"So are you and Brysen expecting?"
"I hope so but I just wanted to come in before buying clothes and all that. Like I did last time."
"Are you okay? A miscarriage changes a woman."
"I'm good. I just don't wanna get my hopes up or Brysen's. He was so devastated but he took care of me after. I love him so much and he's my favorite person in the world."
"Haley was my patient. Emma's birthday is November 13th and I think it's really great what you're doing."
"Thanks Maggie."[We get off the elevator and go to Nat's office I knock she says:]
"Come in."
"Mags could you stay?"
"Yea. Of course."
