Chapter 30: Already Gone

*Alexis's pov*

[A week later Mom is still in the hospital ; I spent the night at the house ; Dakota and I haven't talked since our fight last weekend. My phone rings as I'm getting ready for the barbecue it's Dakota I answer but don't say anything he says:]

"I got into UCLA. I'm sorry about what I said just please talk to me. I love you too much to let some silly little thing tear us apart. I'm sorry Alexis. Grant invited me to the barbecue I hope I'll see you. Bye."

[I hang up and put my shoes on ; I go downstairs Gram and Dad are talking in the kitchen I stop in the living room and listen Dad says:]

"I'm worried about Alexis she hasn't been herself lately. All she does is go to school go to practice rehearsal then come home and go into her room."

"Just leave her be. She will be okay."

"What if she's not Olivia? What if she starts cutting again?"

"Jay calm down. She's gonna be fine."[Alexis comes into the kitchen she grabs her thermos and pours coffee into it Jay says:]

"Morning squirt. How'd you sleep?"

"Alexis are you hungry?"

[I pour creamer into my coffee and stir it. I put the lid on my thermos and go outside I put charcoal in the grill and light it. 2:00pm I'm cooking on the grill Lexi, Grant, Dakota, Quinn, Parker, Penelope, Xavier, Malaya, Nick, Abby, Kenzie and everyone from intelligence comes over Dakota is talking to Grant ; Lexi comes over she says:]

"Hey. What happened between you two?"

"It's nothing."

"If it's nothing then go talk to him."

"No."[a bunch of officers from the 21st come into the backyard ; Dylan and Carter are behind them. Dad and a few others come out of the house. Someone turns some music on [Love Me Like You Do] starts playing Dakota comes over he asks:]

"Alexis can we talk?"

"What is there to talk about?"

"I got into UCLA."

"What does that have to do with me?"

"Can we go inside and talk please?"

"I have more important things to do. Excuse me."[I go inside and run up to my room I slam the door and start crying I go into my bathroom and find a razor]

*Olivia's pov*

[Alexis goes into the house Lexi's says:]

"I'm gonna go talk to her."

"No you're not sit down you've got a baby in there."

"How did you know Gram?"

"Please I knew when you weren't working as late. Besides you and Grant are like a wildfire ; there's no way to put out a flame like that."

"Yea he's gonna be an amazing dad."

"How far?"

"I would say thirteen weeks. We want to wait until we hear the baby's heartbeat before we tell everyone."

"Understandable. Congrats."

"Hey. Jay's having a barbecue. Are you going?"
