* Erin's pov*
[Four months later April 1st it's 3:00pm Carter and Brent have been hanging out a lot we're having a family day at the house when Carter comes downstairs she's wearing a black dress that hugs her curves she says:]
"Okay I'm leaving."
"Where are you headed kiddo?"
"Alex and I are celebrating our six month anniversary. We're going out to dinner and he said that he wanted to ask me something."
"Six? I thought you two started dating in December."
"He officially asked me to be his exclusive girlfriend in December but we had been together since October."
"Think he's gonna ask you to prom?"
"He better. I have the perfect dress already and I heard I'm in the running for prom queen."
"You look ridiculous."
"I'm in too much of a good mood to let you bring me down. Bye don't wait up."[I leave and go to the restaurant I wait for four hours for Alex I call him he doesn't answer. 7:00pm I'm about to leave when Drew comes over he says:]
"This seat taken?"
"Yes."
"Don't tell me he stood you up."
"Why are guys such jerks? I spent three hours on my hair. I missed a whole day of school for this."
"Listen I wanted to apologize for the way I've been treating you it wasn't fair. I'm sincerely apologizing for the things that I said to you. That is no way for any male to speak to a female. I'll do whatever it takes for you to forgive me. I'm so sorry Carter. Please don't tell me you are finished with me. I need my partner in crime back."
"Do you wanna have dinner?"
"I'd love to."
[Drew and I have dinner the check comes I start to reach for it he says:]
"What are you doing?"
"Paying for dinner."
"No you don't. A lady never pays when she's with me."
[Drew flashes his signature smirk the waitress comes over he looks at her and says:]
"I just wanted to say thank you for your excellent service tonight. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed it. There's two extra twenties in there for you. Thank you BreAnne."
"You know your bill was only fifty dollars right?"
"Yes. Have a nice night. I'll see you later."
[Drew leaves BreAnne stares at me and says:]
"Is that Drew?"
"Yea. My uncle."
"He just paid for my car."
"What time do you get off?"
"I get off in an hour. Why?"
"Because you are my best friend and I haven't met your mother yet. How many nights and weekends have you spent at my house just because you didn't want to go home?"
"Too many to count. You and your folks have been real good to me. You're the first upperclassmen that's ever been this nice to me. I'm so grateful that you walked into that cafe even if you did have some crazy guy stalking you."
"Me too."[I wait for BreAnne to get off of work we go to my house and upstairs she says:]
"What are we doing here?"[Carter opens a door there's a bed , a desk and in big letters my name is spelled out above the bed Carter says:]
