:3 Hiya! Thanks for reading and voting! Love ya!

*Alex's POV*

While I'm at my locker I overhear a few people ask Jack why he didn't go to Kelsey's party. I'm not sure how it could ever be any of their business why he does or doesn't go somewhere. Oh well, it must be a popular person thing. I quietly hum 'All The Small Things' by Blink 182 and head to my next class.

"Good work on your report, Alexander" My social studies teacher, Mr. Martin says, smiling and handing me the papers. The report was about 'The customs and cultures in Brazil' A bit odd but interesting once you start reading about it.

"Thank you" I nod, he really did like it seeing as I got an A+

"If only all the students worked as hard as you, I would have the perfect class" He says quietly and continues handing back papers. At least he admits that most of these kids couldn't care less about grades.

Oh God, I'm starting to sound like a teacher....

"Here dude, what did you get for number six on the math homework?" Rian asks, shoving part of a sandwich in his mouth

"I don't remember" Zack shrugs

"Alex?"

"I don't remember either, sorry" I say, barely paying attention because I've got my nose burried in the book I've been reading for the past week.

"You guys are no help" Rian whines and gets eraser shavings everywhere while trying to get rid of a wrong answer written in pen. "Screw it, I'll just scribble over it"

"Good strategy" Zack says sarcastically.

We have some sort of assembly instead of sixth and seventh period. Everyone files into the gym, trying to claim one of the uncomfortable, folding metal chairs as their own, they're better than sitting on the basketball court. The principal walks out onto the front of the court, too close to the speakers, feedback echoes and screeches around the room causing everyone to cover their ears and groan. Eventually he gets the microphone working properly and says

"Alright, since all you students and teachers have been working so hard this year I decided to let you come here instead of going to your sixth and seventh period classes. We will be listening to a spokesperson speak about bullying and then we will watch some short videos on how to prevent it, but first we will listen to a song about bullying and how it makes you feel"

This has to be some big joke, there's no way to prevent it unless you have someone constantly watching all of the kids. Oh well, at least we don't have to do any work. The number one most annoying noise I've ever heard comes crackling through the speakers and I try to think about anything but the disaster of a 'song' being forced into our ears. I sit back on the chair I managed to snag and try to zone out for the rest of the assembly.

~~~~~~~~~
Everyone was walking around for the remainder of the school day complaining about the song being stuck in their heads. I don't know if it effected bullying at all but it definitely effected the amount of teachers begging each other for aspirin to soothe their pounding headaches. Yes, it was that bad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Getting home and being able to listen to any song other than that seemed like a blessing. I don't know about everyone else but I would've preferred going to my regular class.

*Jack's POV*

"My ears are bleeding" I mumble to myself as I walk in the front door. I'm not sure what was worse, that song, or the people constantly bugging me about a stupid party. Listening to some real music should cure this crappy noise epidemic! I put in my earphones and turn up the volume... God bless...
