Not friends

Ash's p.o.v.

"Ash. Hurry up." I hear my sister Ash screams from down stairs.

"I'm coming" I grab my backpack and ran down stairs. She had a granola bar and an apple in her hand.

"Here since you didn't eat anything." She hands me the granola bar and apple.

At school

So my sister Ash has a reputation of ... let me see how do I put it? hanging out with the bad crowd at times. I'm what you call basically IT girl cause I'm a social butterfly and I guess I have the looks and athletic and somewhat smart? If you could say.

"Ash" I hear Maloley say. I just clenched my teeth and walked pass him to my loving best friend Franco.

"Nixon Del Franco" I hug him.

"Ashton! Babygirl!" He hugs me back.

"Come on let's go to our lockers and Ash left us for her new boy toy." I say pulling him along.

Lunch

Ohh my gosh! They're giving out pizza and burgers! I have to text Ash to get the burger and I'll get pizza and since she doesn't eat, I'll eat it all.

We're sitting in our table peacefully until stupid Derek Luh, Nate Maloley, John Swift aka Swazz, The Jacks, Mike, Hayes, and Tez came to interrupted our beautiful lunch.

"What do you guys want?" Ash calls out.

"Can't we come say hi to lovely Ash" Derek says.

"No" Ash and I say at the same time.

"Well then" Nate laughed.

"I was talking to the cute Ash" Derek says.

"They look exactly the fuckien same moron" Nixon points out laughing.

"Yes but obviously" I cut him off by saying "He's obviously talking about Astrid."

"I'm talking about you Ashton." He smirked. I just rolled my eyes.

"Touché" Grayson said.

"Baby Gray" I smiled.

"Baby Eth here too" Ethan butted in. I laughed aww my boys are cute. Yes Ethan and Grayson Dolan. Cuties right?

"Derek" Ethan and Grayson greet.

"Sup Dolans" Derek said. Eww he's so annoying, he needs to go. I got my things and made my way to the field since we're having an emergency meeting for cheer.

After school

Thankfully my brother Andres was home to bring me my sport bag with my things since I forgot it at home. I have cheer today and I'm very excited since the girls and I will be learning a new dance by Leny and I.

After cheer practice

I'm waiting on Ash since she took the car even though she wasn't supposed to. I could hear some voices in the back.

"Oo boys look who's there." I hear someone say.

"It's Ash." I then realize it's Derek. I go on my phone, pretending I'm doing something.

"Hey babe."Derek says wrapping one of his arms around my waist.

"I'm not your babe." I unwrapping his arm.

"Not yet. But you will be." He says.

"Eww no get away." I brush him off.

"I don't think your sister is coming. She's with Nate, I mean I'm pretty sure they're pretty distracted." He says, once he's said that I got a text from Ash saying she can't pick me up.

"Need a ride mami?" He asks.

"No I'm fine!" I start walking to my house. I should've taken the bus since it's very cloudy and I think it's going to rain.

"Are you sure about that?" He asks from inside of his car.

"I'm sure" I say.

"It looks like it's about to rain" he said.

"I'm sure it's not." Once I said that it started pouring.

"Get in!" He screams, I didn't feel like getting wet- well to bad for that cause I'm soaking.

"Here." He hands me a towel he got from the back seat.

"Thank you" I say.

"And Ash thanks Derek for the first time" he reports, he flashes me a smile. I just laugh.

"Finally Ash has laughed at one of my jokes." He says excitedly.

"Har Har" I sarcastically say. He laughs.

"I'm soaking wet!" I complain.

"I'm sorry baby girl I made yu-" I cut him off by smacking him and earning an 'ouff' from him.

"Can you pull over?" I ask. He does as asked.

"I'm change don't look at me!" I instruct.

"No promise ma." He says. I'm looking for my extra clothes but I can't find my bottoms.

"Derek do you sweats or something I can use?" I ask kindly.

"Yea in my sports bag." He says.

"Do you mind taking them out I don't like looking trough peoples stuff." I ask again kindly. He throws them at me.

"Shit!" I scream.

"What happened?" I ask.

"My sweater is soaking and I'm cold." I complain.

"Here take mine" he says while I move into the passenger seat.

"No. Then you'll be cold." I say.

"Come on Ash." He says. I shake my head.

"Come on Ash. I don't want you to get sick." He insists and I smile.

"Fine. What about you?" I ask.

"I have another one in the back." He says, and that got me to wear it.

"It smells nice." I laugh.

"Thank you." He says. "You look nice in my clothes." He compliments me.

"Thanks?" I say more like ask.

Once we got home, ohh I forgot to mention Derek is my neighbor, sad right? We didn't talk afterwards. I'm getting ready for bed, I hear Ash and Andres talking very loud.

"Hey!" I hear someone say from outside my window. I make my way to my window and see Derek.

"What?" I ask.

"You look nice." He says.

"Thanks?" I question.

"So do you need a ride for tomorrow?" He asks.

"Derek just cause you gave me a ride doesn't mean we're friends." I say.

"I'm not trying to be friends mami." He says.

"You're Fundamental. Good night Derek." I say shutting my window. I hear him say good night Ashton before I fully  closed it. Once I laid in bed I knocked out.
