Ash's p.o.v.
"Yeah sure. Something very important?" Derek asks.
"Not really." I say.
"You can tell me know I have a little time." He says wrapping his arm around my waist.
"Jake talked to me in the library. I wanted to tell you before anyone came to you with the gossip and blew things out of proportion." I say. He pecks my lips.
"You're so cute, and thank you for telling me." He says.
"I just recommended a book that's it." I say. He nods his and pecks my lips.
"I'd love to stay in chat but practice is about to start, mine and yours." He says. I peck his lips. "Make me proud." He says releasing me from his arms making his way to coach and his team. I make my way to the locker to change quickly.

"You look hot." I hear Derek say.
"You look hot." I mock Derek.
"What you do." Derek shrugs wrapping his arms around my waist. "You ready to go?" He asks. I nod my head.
"Let's go home." I say.
"Let's go home." Derek says.
"Do you have any homework?" I ask.
"Not today, you?" He asks.
"Not today." I say.
"So you're free?" He asks.
"No I'm not." I say.
"What but you have no homework and it's a school night." He says.
"Yeah but I have a book, so I'll be busy." I say.
"I'll read one and we could spend time: quality time." He says.
"Derek James Luh, you're making me like you a lot." I say smiling.
"That's what I want." He says as I kiss his cheek.
*
"She doesn't pay attention to me." I ignore Derek and continue reading. I hear it repeat and I asume he's recording so I ignore it. "Babyyyy." Derek says.
"Mhm?" I ask.
"Give me attention." He whines.
"I'll read one and we could spend time quality time." I quote him raising an eyebrow at him.
"Ugh." He groans.
"I told you Derek I was going to read a book. I haven't read in a while." I say.
"You haven't done me in a while." Derek rolls his eyes.
"Oh hush, I've never done you. It will take you a while for me to do that." I say.
"I'm working on it." He says.
"I can see but you're clearly failing at it." I grin at him.
"Maybe if you actually payed attention to me it would." He teases.
"Oh BABY it's just you're not trying enough." I tease back. He gives me a small peck.
"This is why you're my girl. You motivate me." He says.
"I'm glad I do." I smile getting up to grab some night wear.
"That ass does too." He says slapping my ass.
"Derek." I laugh. "I wasn't expect that." I say cracking up.
"I didn't ether." He says laughing with me.

"Hey Ash." I turn around to see Jake. I raise my eyebrows at him. "Hey." I say.
"Can I have the notes from Friday from fifth period? I was absent." He asks.
"Ask your best friend." I say walking away. "Can we talk?" He asks.
"About what?" I ask. "There's nothing to talk about." I say.
"Ash come on." I hear Sam call me out. I make my way towards Sam and the rest of the group. "Why were you talking to him?" Sam asks. "He wanted the notes and I told him no." I say. "Mhm." Is all he says.

Vickys POV
"It doesn't matter what you want Victoria! What matter is what my daughter and I want!" Fernando, Ash's father said. Nicolas makes his way towards me.
"It's what's best for my daughter." I say.
"Do you know what if feels like not having your daughter call you on your birthday?!?!" He asks. I stay quiet cause I don't want to tell him that it's his fault.
"Tori we should go." Nicolas says. I nod my head. I make my way out of the restaurant with Nicolas. "Was that Ashton's father?" He asks. I nod my head.
"If he keeps up with that attitude he won't have a chance against us." He says.
"I'm letting him talk. He's going to dig a deeper whole for himself." I say.
"Wise one." He says making me smile.
"I mean I guess that's why you're going out with me." I wink at him. He nod his head smiling at me.
