Andres p.o.v. I drive my way to the restaurant to meet up with Janell. I park my car and make my way inside. I wait for Janell, every time the door opens I look up to see if it's Janell.
"Hey." I look up to see Janell.
"Hey." I get up to greet her.
"Should we go get seated?" She smiles. I nod my head and we walk to the hostess. I give her my name and she leads us to a table of two.
"Someone will be with you shortly." The hosts says. I nod my head as I observe Janell.

"You look good." I say.
"Thank you so do you." She says. I nod my heads and give her a smile. "Thank you for not choosing a flashy restaurant." She smiles.
"No problem." I say.
"I'm thankful that we didn't tell your grandma or my parents. I don't feel the pressure of having to like you." She says making me laugh.
"Totally understandable." I say.
"I'm glad." She smiles.
"So what do you like to do for fun?" I ask.
"I like to be rebellious without being caught." She smiles.
"What do you classify as rebellious?" I ask.
"You know the simple things like arranging the candles differently in my parents living room." She jokes around making a smile break on my face. "Come on Andres you knows me for some years. Do we really need to talk about the boring basics things we usually talk about on the first date?" She has a sly smile on her face.
"I don't think so." I shrug.
"So. Tell me about your mother? How is she?" Janell asks.
"She's been good." I say.
"I heard she was dating a guy name Nicolas." She says. I raise my eyebrow at her. "My dad knows his from college. They were good pals." She smiles. I nod my head.
"I wanted to ask you about the twins how are they?" She asks.
"They are doing fine. How about your brother?" I ask.
"He's being a kiss ass to my mother." She smiles. "He's a mamas boy." She adds on.
"Can't stand a mamas boy?" I ask teasingly.
"Not when it's my brother." She smiles. We joke around and we talk about other things and the waiter comes and takes our order.
"I've never been here so I hope it's good, cause I'm starving." Janell says.
"I hope so too." I say.
"Are you ready for finals?" Janell asks. I shake my head.
"I have so much going on." I say. She nods her head.
"I feel you." She says. Our food arrives and we eat and having a small conversations. She makes me laugh and I do too. I like having her company she's great.
"I'll pay for my food." Janell says.
"Not happening." I say.
"Come on I invited you out to dinner." She says.
"That's why it's only fair." I say. She smiles.
"No. Come on." She says.
"Maybe next time." I say.
"There's a next time?" She teases.
"If you allow me to take you out to another date than yes." I say.
"I'd think I'd like that a lot." She says. "I'm paying on the next one then." She says as I pay for the dinner bill. The waiter comes back with my card and we make our way outside.
"I enjoyed tonight." I say honestly as I walk her towards her car.
"I did too. We shall do it again." She says.
"I'm look forward for that." I smile.
"Thank again for not taking me somewhere flashy." She says smiling.
"I already told you no problem." I say. Once we reach her car we stay quiet for a bit.
"I guess this means a goodnight." She says.
"Good night." I say and I hug her. Once we pull away from the hug she pecks my lips.
"Now that's a goodnight." She says and gets into her car and I stand there shocked. She has as smile on her face and she backs up and leaves. I make my way to my car and drive myself home. I open the door and I'm greeted by my mom and Nicolas having a laugh.
"Hey." Mom smiles.
"Hey." I make my way toward her and kiss her check.
"Hey." Nicolas greets.
"Hello." I say.
"How was your day?" Mom asks.
"It was okay." I say. She nods her head. "You?" I ask her.
"It's been good." She smiles.
"I'm glad mom. I'm head to bed I'm tired." I say.
"Good night." She says and kisses my check.
"Good night mom." I kiss her check. "Good night Nicolas." I say and I head upstairs.
