Few days later

"So Stassie and Sam broke up." Ashton says. "I thought they would last forever, but you know Sam." She adds. I'm surprised at the fact that Sam was with Stassie for so long and that it ended.

"Never been the one to stay serious for a while. Stassie managed to hold him for a while." I say.

"She did, apparently it was a bit messy." Ash says. I raise my eyebrow. "Sam was being a little hoe with other girls, he was flirting. Stassie wasn't having any more of it so they broke up." She adds. I raise my eyebrow at her asking her who told her. "Derek." She says shrugging.

"I forget Derek still talks to them." I say.

"Yeah, they do." She says.

"How are you feeling about prom and graduation?" I ask.

"I'm looking forward to prom." She says. "You're taking Will?" She asks.

"Yeah we're going to mine and his." I say. "You're taking Derek?" I ask.

"Yes, he took me to his so it's only fair if I take him to mine." She says smiling.

"You guys have a year together, isn't that crazy?" I ask her.

"Yes. It is, but I can't see myself with someone else." She says.

"I can't neither." I agree with her. We talk some more, about our boys and school.

"Honey have you contacted the administrator form UCLA?" Mom asks.

"No mom I still haven't." I say. "I'll stop by the administration office this week on Thursday." I say.

"Do you want me to go with you?" She asks.

"Mom its fine, Nicolas gave me whole tour. He's excited that I'm going to his school." I say.

"Yea he is." She smiles.

"Mom, thank you for brining Nicolas into our lives. He's great, really, really great. He's great with us." I say.

"I'm glad he's great." She says wrapping her arms around me. I hug her back.

Thursday

"Are you sure you don't want Nicolas to go with you?" Mom asks.

"Mom, Nicolas-" I take a pause, and realize this might be the last time she takes me to something. "Mom can you please go with me?" I ask her, she smiles and quickly nods her head. "Nicolas do you mind driving us?" I turn to ask Nicolas. He nods his head.

"Are you guys going to UCLA?" Ash asks.

"Want to tag along?" I ask her.

"I have a test for math." She say. I raise my eyebrow at her. "I can retake it." She says. I turn to look at mom, she's smiling.

"Mom I can handle the administration, you guys go along and have lunch with Nicolas." I say. "You guys can show Ashton the campus to try to convince her to come to UCLA." I say throwing the attention on her. Ash gives me a tight smile.

"Show me the campus?" She asks. I give her a thankful smile.

"I will gladly, come on love." Nicolas takes moms hand in his and leads her away from me. I go to the administration office. The receptionist said to take a seat and wait to be called.
