Another year

Andres p.o.v.

"Are you okay?" Ashton question me as we walk together. I look down to observe her reaction.

"I'm okay Champ, as soon as this is over for us I'll be better." I wrap my arm around her shoulders pulling her closer and kiss the top of her head. We walk in silence into the court. Ashton got questioned and so did dad.

"You're okay?" Mom asks knocking on the door. I nod my head. She takes a seat next to me on my bed."I know her anniversary is coming up." She adds. I nod my head. She wraps her small arms around me pulling me into a hug. "I'm sure baby's dancing with angels, and watching over you." Mom kisses my head. She always knows what to say to make me feel better.

"Astrid made you some tea since you seemed off." Mom says after a while of us just sitting.

"I brought the tea." Nessa says coming in.

"I'll go check on Ashton and Astrid." Mom says leaving Nessa and I alone. Ness hands me the tea.

"So I found out Cass was cheating on Sebs." She says trying to make conversation.

"You still care about Sebs, go check on him. It isn't cheating on Mike, you and Sebs were friends before anything." I say. She shakes her head like it's a ridiculous idea. Well maybe just a little but still they were friends before anything.

"How are you doing?" She asks changing the subject.

"I'm alright." I say. She gives me a small smile letting me know she feels my pain. After all Lacey and her were close. Ash, Astrid, Nessa, and Lacey were great friends. She nods her head trying not to push it. "I miss her." I whisper. "I miss her and I hate her but I still love her." I admit to her. She nods her head. "Can you get Sebs for me? I just want to talk with him." I say. She nods her head.

"Drink your tea I'll be back soon." She says walking out my room.

Nessa's p.o.v.

I grab a sweater Mike left over.  I grab my keys and my license. I call Sebs to my surprise he picks up quickly.

"Hey?" I ask.

"Vanessa?" He asks confused.

"Are you home?" I ask him.

"Yeah, why?" He questions.

"Get ready. Andres needs you." I says. He stays quiet for a minute and I hear a girls voice in the back. "Please." I pled.

"I'll send you my address." He says.

"Thank you." I hang up. I start my car and receive the message with his address. I use waze to get to his place. I text him I'm outside. After some minutes he comes out, I unlock the door and he gets in the passenger seat.

"What's going on with him?" He asks.

"Lacey happened." I say as I drive us to Andres.

"She broke him." He says, with sadness laced in his voice. 

"Yeah." I whisper.

"How are you?" He asks.

"I'm fine. You?" I ask politely.

"I'm good, I know it's not your ideal night to spend it with me. I would hate me too." He says.

"I don't hate you." I defend myself.

"Good to know. How are things with Mike?" He asks which catches me off guard. "Cat caught your tongue?" He asks.

"I didn't expect you asking about Mike and I. We're great, he's great." I say with a smile.

"That's great, let hope he doesn't cheat like Cassandra." He says. "Such a whore." He comments making me uncomfortable.

"We're here." I say once I pulled up to the drive way. I unlock the car and get out. Once he slips out the car I lock it and make my way inside. I lead him to Andres room.

"Take care of him, don't upset him. I don't want to have to mom mend him back together." I say. He grabs my hand making my heart jump.

"Do you not trust me to take care of him? Come on Nessa." He says looking into my eyes.

"Listen to him." I say pulling my hand away.  He walks into Andres room.

Andres p.o.v.

"Do you not trust me to take of him? Come on Nessa." I overhear Sebs.

"Listen to him." I hear Nessa says before Sebs enters my room.

"Hey man." Sebs greets.

"Hey." I give him a small smile.

"What's going on?" He asks getting right to the point.

"It's Lacey. Our child's passing anniversary is coming up." I say. He feels me, I see it in his eyes.

"Another year." He whispers.

"Another one with no Lacey." I say as my eyes tear up. 

"You haven't found her?" He asks.

"She doesn't want to be found. She left without telling me or her parents where she went. She just left a note says she loved me and not to look cause she didn't want to be found and she didn't deserve me." I say. He shakes his head.

Hope you guys enjoyed. We have a new cover guys. I like that I did Andres pov, in the chapters coming we get more of the other characters pov and their struggles in a way.
