Mama

Ash's p.o.v.
"Ash." I hear Ash call out.

"Mhm? What what happened?" I ask.

"Did you finish the packet?" She asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Can I maybe copy it?" She asks.

"Yeah, it's in my backpack, unicorn binder." I smile.

"You still have yours?" She asks.

"Yeah, you?" I ask her.

"Yeah. I still do." She smiles.

"Girls." Andres called.

"Yes?" Ash and I make our way downstairs.

"It's dad." He takes a brief stop, "he wants to talk to you guys." He says.

"I'm not home." I say leaving.

"Ash you'll have to talk to him sooner or later." Andres says.

"He's dead to me." Is all I say.

"Ashton!" He calls out.

"What?" I ask.

"You can't keep avoiding him." He says.

"Watch me." I walk upstairs. It's unbelievable how Ash and Andres still talk to him, after all he's done.

Dear Ashy,
    Hello baby it's me moma. I'm pretty sure you're upset that's why you're reading this. Call me if anything, remember that I love you. Don't let anyone make you do something you don't want to do. I love you, take care.

"Mom." I say once she picks up.

"Baby? What's wrong baby girl?" She asks.

"He called. He wants us." I say.

"Ash he's your father, but I'm not going to force you to talk to him." She says.

"Mama, when are you coming home?" I ask.

"Soon baby, in fact I'm home tomorrow in the morning. Tessa has called to have dinner with Scott, maybe Seb and Nino will be there." She says.

"Scott told me, Tessa wanted to see me." I say.

"Tess told me you and Scotty went out on a date." I can hear my mother testing me.

"Mum." I whine.

"He's always liked you, even when you were with Jake." She says.

"Mom." I say. "We agreed on not talking about about Jake nor his family." I say.

"I'm sorry baby girl." She says. I hear voices in the background, she's still in the office.

"I'll let you go mom, I'll see you tomorrow morning." I smile.

"I love you Ashy." She says.

"I love you too mommy." I smile.

"And?" She says.

"My love for you is infinite." we both say and she hangs up.

From Scott:
Are we still up for Saturday?

To Scott:
Of course. My mother is joining us. 🙃

From Scott:
So she told you?

To Scott:
Yes I called her.

From Scott:
You seem happy.

To Scott:
You don't know how happy I am.

From Scott:
Come down stairs.

To Scott:
Why???

From Scott:
Just please. Baby Ashy please.

To Scott:
Fine. I'm going, only cause you asked nicely 😂

I make my way downstairs and maybe I should of warn something less revealing. I open the door and I see Scott leaning on his car with chocolates and a teddy bear.

"Hey." I hug him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks.

"Nothing." I avoid eye contact, he gently grabs my chine and makes me look up too him.

"Ash, I know you." He whispers.

"Ash's dad called and wanted to talk." I pause. "I dont want to talk to him." I hug him tighter.

"You don't have too." He whispers, looking me in the eyes. His eyes, are a blushes and grayish color.

"I know." I whisper.

"Ashy?" He whispers.

"Yes Scotty?" I giggle.

"Can I?" He motions to lips.

"Yes you can." I smile, his lips are soft, the kiss is sweet and delicate. Like if he is scared to break me, like if I'm glass. We pull away.

"I brought you chocolates and a teddy bear, Ash called me saying you lashed out." He hands me them.

"You still remember my favorite, Ferrero Rocher and a teddy, we shall name it." I hug him and peck his lips.

"Let's go inside, it's cold." I turn around and I see Derek looking at us from his house.

"My mom's waiting on me." He says.

"So you won't come in?" I ask.

"I would love to, but my mothers up waiting for me to get home, since I told her I would come see you." He says.

"Tell Tessa, I'll just see her tomorrow with my mother." I say.

"Good night Ash." He pulls me into a kiss.

"Good night Scott." I kiss his check and run inside.
