Half truths

Andres p.o.v.

"Have you taken the cars to the six months check?" Sebs asks as I'm feeding Andrea. "I took mine." I say.

"And Nessa's?" He asks eating an apple.

"She took hers." I say.

"She did?" He asked surprised.

"Yeah, She did." I nod.

"That's a surprised." He says. 

"She wants to become more independent." I say. I didn't want to tell him that she had taken her car to Damien. They've been seeing each other often.

"It's good, she's taken care of her things." He says. I nod my head trying not to keep talking about Nessa, I know how protective Sebs gets about her. They were each other's first love. Sebs still cares and loves her.

"Papa." Andrea says. "Baby." I say making her smile. "Have you come in contact with Cass?" I ask him.

"I did once and she made it very clear she wants to be alone. She needs time for herself and being with me isn't helping." He says.

"What do you need?" I ask him.

"I need to accept the fact that my child passed and that I need to heal and work on myself." He says.

"I'm here for anything." I tell him.

"Thanks man, it just hurts." He says. I nod my head understanding. I felt the same pain when I thought Andrea was aborted, and I didn't get to see her, I didn't get to be there for Lacey. I pick Andrea and hug her tight. She hugs me with her small arms. "Uncle Sebs." She says pointing at him. He looks sad and I place Andrea down and she hugs him. He embraces her in a hug. They have a little moment as I clean up Andrea's high chair.

"She's such a blessing." Sebs says.

"She's a big blessing." I say agreeing.

"How are things with Lacey?" He asks.

"They're good, she's doing her thing and we're coparenting. We're a team." I say.

"So nothing of nothing?" He says referring to our past love life, that's how Andrea came to be.

"I'm with Janell, she's amazing and I like her a lot." I say.

"Is she Andres great?" He asked. "No comment." I say telling a half truth. Thank you mom. "Come on you must have something to say, is she potential Mrs.Ferron material?" He asks. I raise my eyebrow. "Or was that just Lacey?" He asks raising an eyebrow at me. "Janell is Janell, Lacey is Lacey." I say. He wraps an arm around me,"and you my dear Andres are stuck between two lovely women. I know who you're going to go with because you always end listening to your heart." He says. I shake my head and ignore his comment. "She's the only one who will always be Andres great." I say pointing to Andrea.

"Daddy" Andrea screams. "Daddy" She says and beings to cry. I pick her up. "Do you want milk baby?" I ask. She nods her head I get her milk ready and I give it to her preparing her for her afternoon nap.

"How did Kiara act around Andrea?" He asks. "She was great, Andrea loves her a lot. She kept making Andrea laugh and played with her." I say. "You know the regular Kiara, always good with kids." I add.

Ash p.o.v.

"So you applied for Sanford?" Jake asks, he was the last person I wanted knowing. I don't know how he found out. I raise my eyebrow at him acting dumb. "I work in the office Ashton, I just wanted to congratulate you, you deserve to go there. After all your mom went there." He says walking away. I'm left speechless, I just collect my books and make my way toward English. I shake the feeling, he won't come in contact with Derek, he isn't home and there's no way Jake would go out of his way to bug him, but then again he's Jake. He seems to have matured a bit and I hope he doesn't tell Derek, I want to break the news to him.
