Ash p.o.v.
"Hey are you done?" Ash asks. I nod my head and we make our way outside greeted by Nixon. He's driving us to school. Derek had to be at school earlier to catch up from the day he missed.
"Hey best friend." Nixon greets excitingly.
"Good morning." I smile. Ash and him greet each other. We review for the exam we have for English class this Friday.
"I hate having exams before thanksgiving break." Nixon complains.
"I do too. I'm ace this, watch." Ash says confidently.
"Hey." Derek's greets me wrapping his arms around me and kisses me.
"Hey." I peck his lips. "I haven't seen much of you lately." I say.
"I know and that's on me." He says. I nod my head. "I'm borrow her for a while." He turns to look at Ash and Nixon. They nod their heads and he takes my hand in his. We walk for a bit and we stop after a while and he hugs me. I wrap my arms around him.
"I've missed you." He whispers and kisses my check.
"I've missed you too." I say.
"How's the case going?" He asks.
"I think it's going well. But it's too early tell." I say.
"Everything is going to be fine." He says. "I'll be there and your mom will be there." He adds.
"I know, thank you." I say.
"We should probably get you back to studying." He says pulling away from the hug.
"We should." I say giving him a smile.
"That's the smile I've been dying to see." He says walking me back to my sister and Nixon. "I'll see you during lunch." He pecks my lips and makes his way back to the building.
"Awe adorable." Ash says.
"Look Nate's coming." I say as I spot him making his way over here.
"Bye guys." She says collecting her things and leaving Nixon and I. Nate reaches us once she leaves.
"Where did Ash go?" Nate asks.
"I'm not sure." I say.
"Class, she had to talk to a teacher." Nixon says.
"When you see her can you tell her I need to talk to her?" Nate asks.
"Yeah we will." I say.
"Later guys." He says. I give him a wave. Nixon and I pick up our things and head to our first period.
"Ash can I speak to you?" Jake asks.
"Is it school work?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Then no." I say.
"Come on Ashton." He says.
"She said no so get lost Jake." Nixon steps in.
"Franco." Jake lets out. "Always interrupting us feels like old time." He says and his attention shifts to Nixon.
"Seems like it." Nixon flashes him a smile to push him. "She said no and no means no." He says in a serious mode. Jake sighed "fine later," he walks walks away.
"Thank you." I give Nixon a smile. He smiles back at me and we make our way into class.

"How did your day go?" Mike asks.
"It was fine." I say placing my backpack on the floor and grabbing an apple. "You?" I ask.
"It was good." He smiles.
"Had a day with Nessa?" I ask. He nods his head wearing a big smile making me smile.
"She's just amazing." He smiles.
"You love her?" I ask.
"I think I do." He says. I nod my head.
"Congratulations on the program you go in on." I say.
"You heard?" He asks.
"The other night I was going up the stairs and I heard you and Ness talking." I give him a small smile. He nods his head.
"I'm excited, I mean it's a great opportunity. It's very a very competitive program, just getting accepted is a big accomplishment. Photography it's just amazing and I love it." He says with so much passion laced in his voice. I nod my head.
"How long is the program?" I ask.
"A whole year." He says.
"Does Nessa know?" I ask.
"Yes, she's fine with it." He says.
"I'm glad you guys are so supportive of each other. I like you guys together." Our heads turn to the loud slam of the front door. Loud stomps are going upstairs followed by a loud slam.
"I should probably go check." I say. He nods his head.
"What's going on?" Nessa asks coming into the kitchen.
"It's either Ash or Andres, I'll go check on them." I say. She nods her head.
"Tell me if you need anything." She says. I nod my head and quickly make my way upstairs. I check Ashs' room and it's empty. I make my way to Andres, I knock.
"Come in." He says softly. I open the door. "Hey." I greet. "Hi." He gives me a small smile.
"Are you-" "No I'm not fine, She's here. She came back." Andres says. I nod my head and I pull him into a hug.
