Custody

Ash p.o.v.

We're waiting on the courts verdict. Ash seems off, I hold her hand as we wait for it in the living room.

"It will all be fine." Nessa says.

"Yeah it will." Andres adds.

"It's our custody's." I whisper.

"We could loose everything" Ash whispers.

"Ash don't think like that." Mom says trying to warn but she's just as scared us. Nicolas holds mom. We're waiting for the phone to ring. The phone rings, Nicolas picks it up he nods his head and says "We'll be there."

"The verdict, get your coats." He says once he hangs up. We grab out coats and head to the car.

The drive to the court was hazy, I just know I'm sitting in the court room waiting for a verdict on my future. The Judge comes and we all stand in a respectful manner. She talks lawyer talk.

"... The custody of Ashton Dakota Ferron-Boldman and Astrid Layla Ferron-Boldman goes to Dr.Victoria Letizia Ferron." Judge Angela says.

"Mom." I say and I hug her.

"If Astrid or Ashton want to see Mr. Fernando Boldman they are allowed to on their request. Mr.Boldman you may request to see your daughters but they may deny your request without any obligation to see you." Judge adds.

"Thank you Nicolas." I hug him tightly.

"I knew we had this one." He says.

"Thank you Nicolas." Mom says pulling him into a hug. They share a moment and we walk outside to the car.

Nicolas drives us to the mamas and papas to share the good news. Mama pulls us into hugs and dances around as soon as we give her the good news. "I'm so happy." She smiles.

"So are we." Ash says.

"You can continue to speak to him Ash." I say.

"Not after what I learned." She says. I nod my head.

"Andres would you be interested in going golfing with you old man this weekend?" Papa asks.

"I would love to papa." Andres says.

"I have this event I'm hosting Friday and I would love for you guys to come." Mama says.

"We'll be here mama." Mom says.

"Nicolas?" Mama asks making mom smile.

"Count me in." He smiles.

"So it's set. Nessa where's Mike? I haven't seen him or heard of him in the office." Mama says.

"He just recently left to do a photography program. It takes up most of his time and we're on different time zones." Nessa says. Mama nods her head.

"What about your handsome boy?" Mama asks me making me smile.

"He's great, busy with his senior year." I say.

"We need to meet this young man who took my Ashys' heart." Papa says.

"You'll love him papa, he really likes Ash. He only has eyes for her." Ash says.

"That's good." Papa smiles and looks at mama.

"So you guys won?" Derek asks. I nod my head and he picks me up and spins us. He puts me down and kisses me. "I'm so glad." He says.
