Potter, Be Mine

The Call

                                                                               Hermione's Point of View 

My phone rang beside me. I looked at the caller ID and smiled. I hadn't heard from my best friend for a long time, ever since she went to Merlin's Academy for Wizards.

" Hey Katie! It's been so long! What's up?!" I exclaimed happily into my phone.

" Hey Hermione! I know it's been a while. But I just wanted to give you the best news ever!"

" OK... I am a bit worried."

" Haha, it's OK. This really is great news. You know how I went to Merlin's Academy for Wizards when it was time to decide where to go to wizard school? And we were both really disappointed when we went to different schools? Well, I am transferring to Hogwarts!" she screamed into the phone, but I didn't care at this point.

"Merlin's beard! Yay!!!!!" 

" I know I can't wait! I'll miss Merlin's, but you are still my best friend."

" This is so great! I can't wait to introduce you to my friends! By the way, one of them is the famous Harry Potter!"

" That's so awesome! I really can't wait to meet everyone."

" Ya, neither can I. By the way, I have a special friend of mine I want you to meet."

" Interesting. Well then, I'll call you soon and see you soon, when the new year begins. Bye!"

"Bye!" I said and hung up.

This was so great! I hadn't seen Katie in so long, and couldn't wait. This was the best call ever.
